  • Patent number: 10993494
Abstract: A head cover that can be worn by health care professionals is provided. The head cover includes a surgical cap portion and a bouffant cap portion. The surgical cap portion includes a top surface and a side panel secured to the top surface via a seam. Further, the bouffant cap portion is secured to a rear portion of the side panel, where the bouffant cap portion is maintained against the rear portion of the side panel in an undeployed state and is deployable from the rear portion of the side panel to contain a wearer's hair. As such, the head cover enables a wearer to secure his or her hair inside the bouffant cap as needed, yet bouffant cap portion does not cover the wearer's entire head, which minimizes the amount of heat that is trapped within the head cover and increases the level of comfort for the wearer.

  • Publication number: 20170112301
Abstract: A sleeping bag with variable magnetic closure positions includes an inner shell and an outer shell enclosing a filler material, forming a sleeping space. An opening for accessing the sleeping space is adjacent a first edge and a second edge. The first edge and the second edge are overlapping and having aligning magnetic bodies. The sleeping bag also has magnetic bodies arranged to attach to the first edge and to the second edge. When the first edge and the second edge are coupled together, an enlarged sleeping space is created. When the first edge and the second edge are overlapping so that magnetic bodies on the first edge and the second edge are coupled to magnetic bodies on the sleeping bag, a reduced sleeping space is created.

  • Patent number: 3963148
Abstract: An automatic diluting device draws and dispenses a volume of sample along with a volume of diluent so as to maintain a precise ratio between the volume of sample and the volume of diluent. The device includes a diluent chamber having a plunger therein which is reciprocable between a first and second position for displacing a first volume therein when moved, and at least a first sample chamber having a plunger therein reciprocable between a first and second position for displacing a second volume therein when moved. The first and second volumes are arranged to have a fixed precise ratio with respect to one another for any equal distance moved by said first and second plungers in their chambers. A coupling device couples the plungers together for simultaneously reciprocally moving the plungers an equal distance in the chambers between first and second positions.
