  • Patent number: 11962556
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to an animated notification indicator, which may be used to provide an indication of a notification. The animated notification indicator may be less distracting than displaying the notification itself, while, compared to a static indicator, the animated notification indicator may have a higher likelihood of catching the user's attention. The indicator may be animated for a predetermined amount of time, after which it may transition to a static indicator. Interaction with the indicator may display an associated notification, perform an associated action, or present a notification preview and/or set of quick actions, among other examples. In some instances, a context associated with the user's computing device may be processed by a notification platform, and the notification may thus be determined remotely. As a result, the animated notification indicator may be presented at the user's computing device as a result of such a remote determination.

  • Publication number: 20240112228
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating efficient iterative electronic recommendation structures. In various aspects, one or more processors aggregate a plurality of ratings vectors, where each ratings vector is associated with a vector type and contains one or more content ranking metrics associated with one or more users. The one or more processors generate similarity pairing values from the plurality of ratings vectors, where each similarity pairing value is based on a similarity mapping between a first ratings vector and a second ratings vector. The one or more processors further generate an electronic recommendation structure based on the similarity pairing values, where the electronic recommendation structure includes a bi-directional look-up interface that is configured to return a bi-directional recommendation value after receiving a lookup request for either the vector type of the first ratings vector or the vector type of the second ratings vector.

  • Publication number: 20230330392
Abstract: A blood draw device for delivery of a probe into a patient's vascular system, the blood draw device including a housing having a proximal end and a distal end, and an advancement wheel, wherein the advancement wheel is operably coupled to the probe to advance and retract the probe based on a direction of rotation of the advancement wheel. The blood draw device also includes an advancement stop member, wherein the advancement stop member is positionable by a user via an interface portion external to the housing and is configured to selectively limit rotation of the advancement wheel.

  • Publication number: 20230233803
Abstract: A fluid transfer device for use with a peripheral intravenous catheter (PIVC) including an introducer body having a proximal end and a distal end, and a flow tube at least partially housed within the introducer body, wherein the flow tube is configured to be selectively extendable from the introducer body. The fluid transfer device also includes a lever lock coupled to the distal end of the introducer body, wherein the lever lock includes a lumen configured to allow the flow tube to pass therethrough, and wherein an effective length of the lever lock relative to the distal end of the introducer body is adjustable in order to accommodate use of the fluid transfer device with indwelling catheters of the PIVC having various lengths.

  • Publication number: 20220347433
Abstract: Disclosed herein are magnetically trackable stylets and methods thereof. A magnetically trackable stylet can include a stylet body including a core wire, a magnetic assembly, and an outer construction over the core wire and the magnetic assembly. The magnetic assembly can include one or more magnetic field-producing elements disposed alongside the core wire in a magnetically trackable distal portion of the stylet body. The outer construction, which can be an overmolded layer, a reflowed layer, a potting layer, or a shrink-wrapped layer, can be around the core wire and the magnetic assembly. The stylet body can be configured to be disposed in a lumen of a medical device such as a catheter for magnetically tracking a tip of the medical device in vivo without breakage of the stylet body due to bending-related fatigue. A method of such a magnetically trackable stylet can include a method of using the stylet.

  • Patent number: 8750435
Abstract: A receiving apparatus includes: a transmission path characteristics estimating section obtaining pre-interpolation transmission path characteristic data as estimate values for transmission path characteristics as characteristics of a transmission path of an OFDM signal for transmission symbols of pilot signals by using the pilot signals contained in the OFDM signal, and filtering the pre-interpolation transmission path characteristic data by using an interpolation filter, thereby obtaining transmission path characteristic data as estimate values for transmission path characteristics for transmission symbols of the OFDM signal; a distortion correcting section performing distortion correction for the OFDM signal by using the transmission path characteristic data; and a filter controlling section controlling a pass band of the interpolation filter.
