Publication number: 20230381439Abstract: An adjustable airway securement device that protects and enables placement, and positional stability of airway devices or endotracheal tube apparatus (ETT) of different lengths and diameters adapted to fit the airways of patients having oral and tracheal anatomical structures and facial geometries of various sizes. An internal force-exerting member, such as a flexible beam member operatively connected to an Interlock, collar, or a bonding material, or a surface texturing structure is urged into securing engagement with a sidewall of an airway device in response to rotational closure of a securing apparatus or a clamshell-type clamping member. The clamping member is configured to interact in clamping engagement with the continuous sidewall of the airway device via the Interlock device adjustably positioned in the stabilization system to prevent clinically significant movement of the distal end of the airway device with respect to the vocal cords of the patient.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 29, 2021Publication date: November 30, 2023Inventors: Arthur Kanowitz, Nam Trinh, Katie McIntyre, Mark Bruning, Patrick Parkinson, Liad Marom, Ryan Thomson, Taylor Thompson, Nick Rydberg, Janis Paulis Skujins, Patrick Boldenow

Patent number: 10119366Abstract: An insulated electrical conductor (MI cable) may include an inner electrical conductor, an electrical insulator at least partially surrounding the electrical conductor, and an outer electrical conductor at least partially surrounding the electrical insulator. The insulated electrical conductor may have a substantially continuous length of at least about 100 m. The insulated electrical conductor may have an initial breakdown voltage, over a substantially continuous length of at least about 100 m, of at least about 60 volts per mil of the electrical insulator thickness (about 2400 volts per mm of the electrical insulator thickness) at about 1300° F. (about 700° C.) and about 60 Hz. The insulated electrical conductor may be capable of being coiled around a radius of about 100 times a diameter of the insulated electrical conductor. The outer electrical conductor may have a yield strength based on a 0.2% offset of about 100 kpsi.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2015Date of Patent: November 6, 2018Inventors: Justin Michael Noel, Robert Anthony Shaffer, Edward Everett De St. Remey, Dhruv Arora, Trevor Alexander Craney, Gilbert Luis Herrera, Robert Guy Harley, David Booth Burns, Alexei Tcherniak, Stephen Taylor Thompson, Albert Destrehan Harvey, Jonathan Clay Barnett

Publication number: 20170038094Abstract: A fuel fired, atmospheric water heater has a burner positioned inside a combustion chamber. All combustion air entering the combustion chamber must pass through a damper. The damper is operable to adjust the flow resistance to combustion air entering the combustion chamber. The damper is biased to a closed position such that during non-firing periods of the water heater, the damper significantly reduces the flow rate of combustion air being provided to the combustion chamber reducing standby heat loss. An actuator is in fluid communication with a fuel supply line such that when pressurized fuel is provided to the burner, the pressurized fuel causes the actuator to move the damper to an open position to permit operative combustion air delivery to the combustion chamber during firing periods of the water heater.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 5, 2016Publication date: February 9, 2017Inventors: Robert Frederick Poehlman, Janice Fitzgerald, J.
