  • Patent number: 11093117
Abstract: Method for controlling animation's process running on electronic devices having a processor adapted to execute instructions stored in a memory, the method including: interpreting an input method to generate an initial velocity; executing a routine projection using the initial velocity and a current GUI position to generate a factor; executing an adaptive routine using the factor to calculate a new modulated position/velocity value; executing a physics model iteration using the modulated position/velocity value to generate an updated position/velocity value; updating the graphical user interface with the updated position/velocity value and executing the control methods from the new set of position/velocity values, in which the control methods are a progressive forecasting method or an accurate modulation method.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 5, 2019
Date of Patent: August 17, 2021
Assignee: SAMSUNG ELETRÔNICA DA AMAZÔNIA LTDA.
Inventors: Taynah De Araújo Miyagawa, Alvaro Augusto Braga Lourenço, Adriano Mendes Gil
  • Patent number: 10649526
Abstract: Method for updating the field of view of a graphical user interface on augmented reality through gaze gestures of a user in a certain direction using a clue component which signalizes the existence of a feature component. The method includes: as the user gazes away from a given origin-pivot graphical user interface, synchronously modifying the clue in position, scale, color and/or form; extending graphical user interface to its adjacencies by preserving spatial reference to the prior context; displaying the feature after the user gazes away from the initial position in an arbitrary angle, distance or amount; and when the user gazes back into the origin/pivot position, the feature component animates its visible state off, while the clue component performs its transformation back into the original state.

  • Patent number: 10607568
Abstract: A method for processing virtual pointer movement. The method and related components that, when active in an application or virtual environment as a whole, will aid a user in tasks that would require more effort and dexterity with currently implemented pointers. The method uses three operations (separated into two components, Smooth Pointer and Aim Assist Area) that result in a systematic asynchronous movement of a controller and its interface counterpart. Smooth Pointer, responsible for the pointer's stability, is a group of features that manage the process of smoothing the controller's rotation and final virtual pointer position by using a continuous interpolation process. Furthermore, Aim Assist Area is the component (based on two methods: Magnetism and Friction) that describes how the pointer will suffer interferences from the environment to help users have more stability while aiming at elements available in the interface.
