  • Publication number: 20260082130
Abstract: Systems and method for calibrating an imaging device are disclosed. A method is performed by a system including a processor communicatively coupled with an imaging device including an imaging-device element, an actuator coupled with the imaging-device element, and a digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The actuator is associated with predefined calibration data that causes the imaging device to achieve a performance characteristic. The method includes, in accordance with a determination that imaging-device recalibration criteria are satisfied, causing the DAC to provide the actuator a plurality of drive signals. Each drive signal of the plurality of drive signals causes the actuator to apply a respective force on the imaging-device element.

  • Patent number: 12547244
Abstract: Particular embodiments are directed to passthrough image generation for a mixed-reality experience. A device may determine, using an eye-tracking system of a head-mounted device, eye-tracking data associated with a user of the head-mounted device. The device may determine, based on the eye-tracking data, a desired scene depth for the user. The device may instruct a first autofocus camera of the head-mounted device to adjust a first focus distance based on the desired scene depth and capture a first image of a real-world environment of the user. The device may generate a first passthrough image based on the first image. The device may display the first passthrough image to a first eye of the user via a first display of the head-mounted device.

  • Publication number: 20250067982
Abstract: A head-mounted display device employs controllable aperture projection for uniformity of a waveguide display within a field of view and eyebox domain. A waveguide-based display to control pupil replication density may comprise an image panel to provide light, a projection lens to receive and focus the light from the image panel, a variable aperture to pass the focused light in a controllable manner, and a waveguide to project the focused light passed through by the variable aperture onto an eye box, wherein the variable aperture is positioned at an entrance of the waveguide.

  • Publication number: 20230213729
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a camera device assembled to reduce an auto-focusing actuation power for the most typical use case. The camera device comprises an image sensor and a lens assembly in an optical series with the image sensor. During assembling of the camera device, the lens assembly is assembled within the camera device to have an optical axis parallel to gravity and positioned to have an offset along the optical axis relative to a support assembly. The offset is determined during assembling of the camera device such that, when the camera device is oriented with a rotated optical axis orthogonal to gravity, the lens assembly is positioned at a neutral position relative to the image sensor without activation applied to the lens assembly.

  • Publication number: 20060136541
Abstract: A multiplying system for binary digits. The digits are multiplied in a rectangular memory array, where the digits are placed along the edges, and intersections between 1's form blocks of 1's in the memory array. The blocks of 1's are evaluated based on a weighting assigned to positions within the memory, either directly, or by reducing each block to a reduced block representation. The system can be used for multiplications, partial multiplications, and divisions, as well as applications thereof.
