    Abstract: A keyboard wirelessly connecting to one of multiple hosts is provided. Each host has a device ID code and a device authorization code. The keyboard includes a host selection device, a storage device, a connection device, and a communication device. The storage device stores a lookup table including multiple host codes, each corresponding to one device ID code and one device authorization code. The host selection device selects a candidate host code when receiving a first operation. The connection device receives a second operation different from the first operation. When the second operation lasts shorter than a threshold period, the keyboard connects to a host having the device ID code and the device authorization code corresponding to the candidate host code. When the second operation lasts longer than the threshold period, the keyboard updates the device ID code and the device authorization code corresponding to the candidate host code.

The first sensing value is related to the magnitude of the first force and is compensated by a first compensation value corresponding to the first key to generate a first adjusted sensing value. If the first adjusted sensing value is higher than or equal to a current threshold, the keyboard controller determines that the first key is pressed and accordingly outputs a first key code corresponding to the first key.

In an exemplary embodiment, the scraggly structure can be a sawtooth-like structure patterned on a circumferential area of a hollowed portion formed inside the scroll wheel; and an adjusting unit is further comprised of an adjusting rod and a braking part, in which the braking part, being made of an elastic material, can be an elastic strip; and the adjusting rod is formed with screw thread. Thereby, by rotating the adjusting rod, the braking part is driven to move along the adjusting rod in response to the rotation of screw thread so that the relative position of the braking part with respect to the scraggly structure is changed accordingly and thus the braking mode of the scroll wheel device is changed.
