    Abstract: A multi-piece wheel frame includes a rim and a disc. The rim includes a barrel, and an outer rim portion protruding outwardly from the barrel. The outer rim portion forms an inclined surface, and a ring edge surface connected to an outer edge of the inclined surface and cooperating with the inclined surface to form an obtuse angle. The disc is fixed to the rim, and includes a disc core, a plurality of spoke portions extending radially outwardly from the disc core, and a reinforced ring portion connected to the spoke portions and fixed to the outer rim portion. The reinforced ring portion abuts against at least one of the inclined surface and the ring edge surface.

    Abstract: A magnetic levitation device as a toy or a bearing is provided. The magnetic levitation device has an inner component and an outer component. Multiple magnet rings are mounted on the inner component and multiple magnet rings are mounted on the outer component. The magnet rings on the inner component attract the magnet rings on the outer component. Multiple pulley assemblies are mounted on the outer component. An elastic component is connected with a center pulley. The two ropes are wrapped on the center pulley. One end of each one of the ropes is mounted on one of the fixing points that is connected to one of the magnet rings mounted on the outer component and another one end of the rope is mounted on a reactive pulley. With such structure, the outer component may levitate from the inner component and the pulley assemblies can balance the entire device.

    Abstract: A camera for measuring the distance to an object is combined with a laser range measuring device by using a beam splitting device so as to simultaneously take the image of the object and measure the distance between the camera and the object. Using the focal length of the lens, the width and height of the image on the image detector, and the distance between the camera and the object, it is then possible to compute the width and height of the object according to the geometrical optics. By means of obtaining the speed of the image moving on the image detector, the camera of the invention further computes the speed of the object which is projected on a plane perpendicular to the optical axis of the lens.
