Patent number: 12064063Abstract: Some sheet product dispensers disclosed herein are configured to dispense from a sheet product roll that includes a plurality of predetermined portions that are designed for providing a toilet seat cover. A line of perforations separates consecutive portions. A motor operates to drive the drive roller to cause movement of the sheet product along a dispensing pathway to position a leading predetermined portion of the sheet product into a dispensing position such that the trailing edge of the leading predetermined portion is positioned within the housing and the leading edge of the leading predetermined portion is positioned outside the dispensing chute to enable removal of the leading predetermined portion. Staged dispensing is utilized to help maintain hygiene, while still quickly providing the dispense. Perforation tear assist features are provided to aid in proper separation of the line of perforations, such as to help maintain integrity of the dispensed portion.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2020Date of Patent: August 20, 2024Inventors: Daniel Joseph Bartman, John Patrick Laitala, John William Grosz, Jr., Timothy Andrew Robertson, Ted Allen Casper, Jacob Charles Dahl

Patent number: 11534037Abstract: An example sheet product dispenser includes a housing with a base portion and a loading door. A motor drives a base portion roller or a loading door roller to cause dispensing of the sheet product along a sheet product path and through an outlet. A pump is in fluid communication with a liquid reservoir and a spray mechanism, and is configured to cause liquid from the reservoir to spray onto the sheet product through the spray mechanism prior to dispensing. A controller is configured to determine whether to operate in either a dry mode or a wet mode based on user input provided. When in the dry mode, the controller causes the motor to operate to dispense dry sheet product. When in the wet mode, the controller causes the motor to operate and the pump to operate to dispense wetted sheet product.Type: GrantFiled: February 20, 2020Date of Patent: December 27, 2022Assignee: GPCP IP HOLDINGS LLCInventors: Alan Joseph Johnson, Timothy Andrew Robertson, Ted Allen Casper, Matthew Keith Florian Williquette

Patent number: 11395566Abstract: Some example product dispensers that accommodate two full paper towel rolls are provided herein. The product dispenser may employ separate dispensing mechanisms for each product roll and may include roll holders that articulate out from the housing to facilitate easy loading and access to replacement and loading of the other product roll. A roll partition may be utilized to separate the web paths of the two product rolls and enable rotation of front roll holders. Example funnel covers and nip covers can aid with intuitive installation. Example roll holders with retention mechanisms help prevent unintentional dropping of the installed product roll. Other beneficial features include utilizing motor operation sensing to dispense a desired sheet length, automatic/assisted loading into the dispensing mechanism, automatic switching between dispensing of product rolls, and always dispensing from the smaller product roll first. Many other features/structures of example product dispensers are also described herein.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2017Date of Patent: July 26, 2022Assignee: GPCP IP HOLDINGS LLCInventors: Brian Scott Borke, Ted Allen Casper, Jacob Charles Dahl, R. Patent number: 11253111Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide foam skin care product (e.g., soap) dispensers and corresponding compositions. An example foam skin care product dispenser includes a reservoir that holds, under pressure, a skin care product composition, including one or more propellants. During a dispense, a dispense valve is opened to release some of the skin care product composition from the reservoir into a dispensing (e.g., flow) path. Once released, the skin care product composition at least partially foams to form foamed skin care product (e.g., foamed soap).Type: GrantFiled: August 21, 2020Date of Patent: February 22, 2022Assignee: GPCP IP Holdings LLCInventors: Ted Allen Casper, Benjamin John Holtz, Ryan David Carignan, Brian Patrick Argo, Jeffrey Charles Duhacek, Philip Ross Walker, Darryl Tyler Rathbun
