  • Patent number: 10279964
Abstract: A container, comprising a hinge component that can secure a lid component of the container with a container component of the container, is presented. The hinge component can comprise a pin component and base component. The pin component can be associated with the lid component and the base component can be associated with a wall of the container component, or vice versa. The pin component can comprise one or more protruding portions extending from one or more smaller portions that can be associated with respective ends of the protruding portions along the pin component. The pin component can be removably attached to the base component by inserting one or more protruding portions of the pin component into one or more respective base slot components of the base component, the base slot component(s) retaining the protruding portion(s) therein to attach the lid component to the container component.

  • Patent number: 8464897
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices that facilitate producing and using an attachable, replaceable skid pad on a receptacle are presented. A skid pad can be created using a desired material(s), wherein the skid pad can be desirably shaped to conform with a bottom edge of a receptacle so that the skid pad can be desirably attached to the bottom edge of the receptacle and so that the outer surface of the skid pad can be desirably used to pull or drag the receptacle across a wide variety of surfaces, including soft or malleable surfaces. The skid pad can be attached to the receptacle using screws to attach it to, using a desired adhesive to attach it to, or by being snapped onto, a bottom region of the receptacle. The skid pad is removable from the receptacle when desired (e.g., when worn) and can be replaced with another skid pad.

  • Publication number: 20110173769
Abstract: System(s), method(s), and device(s) that facilitate using an edge component to facilitate waste disposal are presented. An edge component having a top portion and bottom portion formed so as to be in a C-like shape such that the edge component can be attached to a top edge of a side portion of container. The edge component can have an edge portion at the opposite end having a substantially fine edge to facilitate transferring waste from a surface into the container via the edge component when the container is placed on its side portion. In embodiments, the edge component can have side walls that can extend up to a desired height to minimize waste dropping off the side of the edge component; or an attachable portion of the edge component can be flexible such that it can conform to a non-straight shape of a side portion of the container.

  • Patent number: 4620387
Abstract: An ice fishing pole and supporting stand are constructed from modular molded plastic components. The pole has an elongated end portion for dropping a line into the water and a reel portion about which the line is wound. Along the elongated pole portion are three cylindrical trunnions supportable in a plastic upright stand. The three trunnions allow the pole to rotate when a fish strikes to give a visual indication that a fish is on the line. When this occurs the fisherman can grab the pole out of the stand and reel in the fish. An ice skimming attachment facilitates use of the pole by allowing the fisherman to skim away ice from his or her fishing hole.
