  • Publication number: 20150372492
Abstract: A power delivery system that includes at least one generator where the generator is positioned to provide AC power and a rectifier, where the rectifier is electrically coupled to the generator. The rectifier is positioned to convert the AC power to DC power. The power delivery system further includes an SCR, where the SCR is positioned to receive DC power from the rectifier. The SCR is adapted to selectively switch a DC motor from an off to an on position. The power delivery system also includes an inverter. The rectifier is positioned to receive DC power from the rectifier and to supply AC current to an AC motor.

  • Publication number: 20050076954
Abstract: A system and method for simultaneously filling or discharging a plurality of acetylene cylinders. One embodiment provides an acetylene cylinder filling/dispensing assembly comprising a manifold connected to a plurality of acetylene cylinders for simultaneously filling or discharging the plurality of acetylene cylinders, the manifold having an acetylene gas inlet/discharge coupling connectable to an acetylene gas supply to deliver acetylene gas from the acetylene gas supply to the plurality of acetylene cylinders.

  • Patent number: 5921291
Abstract: An method and apparatus for filling packed cylinders with acetylene. The apparatus includes a variable speed compressor which delivers the gas to a manifold. The compressor is operated continuously to maintain a continuous flow of acetylene to the manifold and maintain either a substantially constant manifold pressure or a gradually increasing manifold pressure. The method and apparatus of the invention fills a large number of packed cylinders in less than half the time required by operation of conventional two-speed compressors. Furthermore, the method and apparatus of the invention simplifies the production and bottling of acetylene and enables complete automation of the bottling process after the packed cylinders are connected to the manifold.
