  • Publication number: 20080143176
Abstract: A wheeled vehicle includes a cylinder having a receiving chamber, a retractable piston rod movably mounted on the cylinder to support a bearing seat, and an anti-reverse safety device mounted on the cylinder to provide an anti-reverse effect to the cylinder. Thus, when the piston rod is pressed downward, the anti-reverse safety device provides an anti-reverse effect to the cylinder to prevent the fluid in the receiving chamber of the cylinder from flowing backward, so that the bearing seat is fixed at a normal position without being lowered down accidentally.

  • Publication number: 20070145090
Abstract: A knapsack with padded back includes a knapsack main body defining at least one receiving space, at least one shoulder strap connected to a back of the knapsack main body, and a pad attached to at least an outer side of the back of the knapsack main body. The pad consists of an inner watertight layer in contact with the back of the main body, a middle air-permeable elastic layer, and an outer cover layer connected along an outer periphery to a boundary of the back of the main body. The middle air-permeable elastic layer is made of a thermoplastic elastic material and formed with a plurality of voids to provide the pad with good cushioning and air convection effects, making the knapsack with padded back more comfortable for carrying.

  • Patent number: 6164208
Abstract: An igniter for vehicle airbag inflator includes a stainless steel casing, an ignition unit, a pyrotechnic powder holder, and a stainless steel shell, the casing defining a receiving chamber, the ignition unit being mounted in the receiving chamber within the casing, the ignition unit including a pair of electrodes, a nickel chrome wire connected between the electrodes at one end, and an electrically insulative packing block fastened to the electrodes to fix the electrodes in a separated manner, the pyrotechnic powder holder being covered on the ignition unit and holding a high burning rate pyrotechnic powder, the stainless steel shell being covered around the pyrotechnic powder holder for protecting it from damage. The igniter can be adjusted to achieve ignition time delay within 2 milli-seconds, and maximum pressure within 40.about.60 Bar.

  • Patent number: 5989442
Abstract: Method for wet etching where proper arrangements of the substrates during the growth of the insulation layer is adopted. An insulation layer is prepared on the surface of a substrate at the area where thin film circuits are positioned. On the surfaces of the substrate where the thin film circuits are not positioned are prepared protective layers. During the wet etching the attack by the etchant may be avoided. The material of the insulation layer and the protection layer may be the same. The material of the protection layer may be the photo-resistant used in the wet etching process. The invention also disclosed circuit components prepared with the wet etching of this invention.

  • Patent number: 5705369
Abstract: The invention relates to the prehydrolysis of lignocellulose by passing an acidic or alkaline solution through solid lignocellulosic particles with removal of soluble components as they are formed. The technique permits a less severe combination of pH, temperature and time than conventional prehydrolysis. Furthermore, greater extraction of both hemicellulose and lignin occurs simultaneously in the same reactor and under the same conditions.

  • Patent number: 5593601
Abstract: An etchant recipe suitable for the photo-etching process of the CrSi metalized film in the patterning of electronic circuitry. The etchant comprises 100 to 120 parts of 36.5 to 38% HCl, 1.0 to 2.0 parts of 48.8 to 49.2% HF, 0 to 10 parts of 30.0 to 32.0% H.sub.2 O.sub.2 and 50 to 100 parts of 85 to 87% H.sub.3 PO.sub.4. A 0.1 g/100 cc wetting agent is optionally added.

  • Patent number: 4281063
Abstract: A process for treating cellulosic materials to obtain glucose therefrom, which process includes an initial acid or base treatment of the cellulosic materials to remove hemicellulose, followed by a solvent treatment of the solid residue to dissolve the native cellulose contained therein. The dissolved cellulose is separated from the solid lignin-containing residue, whereafter the cellulose is reprecipitated by contacting the solution thereof with water. The reprecipitated cellulose is hydrolyzed to glucose either by acid or enzyme hydrolysis. If desired, the cellulose may be reprecipitated and hydrolyzed in the presence of the lignin-containing solid, the latter being separated from the glucose.
