  • Patent number: 4773089
Abstract: A telephone line-switching device comprises first and second switches that interlock and a lock plate extending between the two switches. The push member of the first switch has a cam with which the lock plate usually engages. The push member of the second switch has an inclined portion on which the lock plate always bears. As the push member of the second switch is depressed, the inclined portion horizontally moves the lock plate, permitting the lock plate to disengage from the cam to release the first switch.

  • Patent number: 4742186
Abstract: A slide for an interlocking switch device which can reduce the thickness and simplify the structure thereof by reducing the thickness of material of components without changing the height. The slide has an interlocking cam operating portion and a simultaneous locking inhibiting member controlling portion formed in a spaced relationship by a fixed distance from each other on a wall face of the slide. In a plural switch unit array, only one switch is operable at a time.

  • Patent number: 4701580
Abstract: A mechanism for inhibiting simultaneous locking of switches in a plurality of rows in a multi-row switch device has a member for inhibiting simultaneous locking of switches in two rows. The member has a plurality of receiving portions projectingly formed in a spaced relationship by a fixed distance and an alternate relationship on both edges thereof and located corresponding to the keys in the two rows. When one of the switches in one row is operated, the member is moved to a position in which the receiving portions thereof will inhibit the corresponding keys in the other row from being depressed. The switch device also includes bar-like locking cams extending between every two adjacent switches in each row for preventing simultaneous locking of two switches in the same row.

  • Patent number: 4700586
Abstract: Simultaneous actuation of switches belonging to separate columns in a switch matrix is prevented by means of opposed preventing members which slide strokes of predetermined length in opposed directions. The preventing members having competing sections formed on opposite sides of a gap which is less than twice the length of the predetermined stroke and these sections compete for space in the gap when their respective preventing members slide so that only one preventing member can slide the full length of its stroke at a time.

  • Patent number: 4668844
Abstract: A switch assembly has two rows of pushbutton switches and a rocking plate in between the two rows having projections engaging the switches for preventing the switches of one row from being depressed when any switch in the opposing row is depressed. The rocking plate is pivotably mounted on a shaft such that it can be axially displaced to release the projections from the switches and allow switches from either row to be actuated simultaneously.
