    Abstract: A frequency-division duplex communication apparatus, including a first radio frequency port, a second radio frequency port coupled to an antenna, a third radio frequency port, a fourth radio frequency port coupled to a balancing circuit, and a filtering arrangement having filters of a first type, a filter of a second type and a filter of a third type. The filters of the first type pass signals at a first frequency band and reject signals at a second frequency band. The filter of the second type rejects signals at the first frequency band and passes signals at the second frequency band. The filter of the third type rejects signals at the first frequency band and passes signals at the second frequency band and the phase response of the filter of the second type is 180 degrees from the phase response of the filter of the third type.
