Abstract: A pneumatic stabilizer for use with a bow, rifle, gun or any other instrument that produces destructive vibrational energy. The stabilizer includes a gas spring having weights secured thereto and structure for releasably attaching the stabilizer to an instrument. When the stabilizer is properly adjusted, it has similar vibrational frequency characteristics similar to the instrument such that the vibrational energy of the instrument is absorbed by the stabilizer.
