  • Publication number: 20230256149
Abstract: The current invention relates to a peritoneal dialysis filter device, which comprises a housing comprising a first port and a second port, and a hollow fibre membrane formed from hollow hydrophilic fibres within the housing. When in use, a dialysate from a subject enters the filter device through the first port and exits via the second port in an outflow direction, and a regenerated dialysate from a sorbent system enters the filter device through the second port and exits via the first port in an inflow direction. Also disclosed herein is a peritoneal dialysis system comprising said filter device, a method for controlling dialysate flow in a peritoneal dialysis system, and a haemodialysis device.

  • Patent number: 10963388
Abstract: According to one general aspect, an apparatus may include a multi-tiered cache system that includes at least one upper cache tier relatively closer, hierarchically, to a processor and at least one lower cache tier relatively closer, hierarchically, to a system memory. The apparatus may include a memory interconnect circuit hierarchically between the multi-tiered cache system and the system memory. The apparatus may include a prefetcher circuit coupled with a lower cache tier of the multi-tiered cache system, and configured to issue a speculative prefetch request to the memory interconnect circuit for data to be placed into the lower cache tier. The memory interconnect circuit may be configured to cancel the speculative prefetch request if the data exists in an upper cache tier of the multi-tiered cache system.

  • Patent number: 10905836
Abstract: A respiratory device includes a blower having an inlet and an outlet, a patient interface, and a valve including a valve member that is rotatable through a first angular displacement in a first direction from a first position to a second position. The outlet of the blower is coupled to the patient interface so that positive pressure is provided to a patient's airway via the patient interface when the valve member is in the first position. The inlet of the blower is coupled to the patient interface so that negative pressure is provided to the patient's airway via the patient interface when the valve member is in the second position. The valve member is rotatably oscillated back and forth when the valve member is in the first position and when the valve member is in the second position so that oscillations in the positive pressure and negative pressure, respectively, are provided to the patient's airway.

  • Patent number: 9727340
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for scheduling based on tags of different types. Some embodiments of the method include broadcasting a first tag to entries in a queue of a scheduler. The first tag is broadcast in response to a first instruction associated with a first entry in the queue being picked for execution. The first tag includes information identifying the first entry and information indicating a type of the first tag. Some embodiments of the method also include marking at least one second entry in the queue is ready to be picked for execution in response to at least one second tag associated with at least one second entry in the queue matching the first tag.

  • Patent number: 7911279
Abstract: An amplifying device includes a cascode amplifier and a biasing circuit. The cascode amplifier is configured to receive an input signal and to output an amplified output signal corresponding to the input signal. The biasing circuit is configured to bias the cascode amplifier, the biasing circuit including a first current mirror and a second current mirror stacked on the first current mirror. The biasing circuit improves linearity of the cascode amplifier across a wide temperature range.

  • Patent number: 7876158
Abstract: A high gain stacked cascade amplifier includes a first amplifying element, a second amplifying element, a current mirror bias element, and a dynamic bias adjustment element. The first and second amplifying elements are coupled in series to form the high gain stacked cascade amplifier configuration. The current mirror bias element provides a bias to the first and second amplifying elements. The dynamic bias adjustment element is coupled to the second amplifying element. The dynamic bias adjustment element is configured to increase a gain compression point of a composite filter, formed by the first and second amplifying elements, in response to a determination that an input signal causes gain compression in the first amplifying element.
