The apparatus comprises a first building module for establishing server-relayed connections with a plurality of clients, a second building module for attempting to establish direct or client-relayed connections with the plurality of clients; wherein the first building module is configured to disconnect the server-relayed connections with the plurality of clients if the attempt to establish direct or client-relayed connections with the plurality of clients is successfully.

The method includes, when the size of a picture to be processed is greater than the size of a container, setting the display size of the picture to be processed to be not greater than the size of the container; and drawing the picture to be processed according to the set display size. As such, a picture to be processed having the size greater than the container size can be adapted to the size of a container in IM software, and the IM software can directly display the entirety of the picture that is originally greater than the container size.

According to the present invention, after a signal indicating a key is kept pressed, a current acceleration start time is obtained, and the keystroke is responded when the current acceleration start time arrives. Therefore, the user does not have to press a key repeatedly, and the key operation can be automatically performed, which reduces the number of keystrokes needed and makes the operation simpler and less time-consuming.

The method includes: obtaining the preconfigured text display format information while logging in the instant messaging system; displaying the received message sent from the instant message sender terminal using the preconfigured text display format. The embodiments of the present invention also disclose an electronic terminal, a server, or a communication system. Abstract: Examples of the present invention provide a method and device for image compression coding. The method includes: obtaining a designated area selected from an image at a decoding side; determining quantization coefficients of the image to make an image compression ratio of the designated area lower than image compression ratios of areas in the image other than the designated area; and performing a compression coding on the image using the determined quantization coefficients of the image. By using the present invention, a video communication system may support a user to select an interested area in a video image, and clearly transmit the interested area selected by the user.
