Patent number: 10620246Abstract: A parameter monitor and method for monitoring a parameter of a passive component on an integrated circuit. The parameter monitor includes an oscillator circuit. The parameter monitor also includes circuitry configured to measure a first time period of an oscillation of the oscillator circuit with a passive component to produce a first digital count value, to measure second time period of an oscillation of the oscillator circuit without the passive component to produce a second digital count value, and generate a code indicative of a value of or a variation in the value of the passive component using the first and second digital count values.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2017Date of Patent: April 14, 2020Assignee: MEDIATEK Singapore Pte. Ltd.Inventors: Chee Guan Ho, Wee-Liang Lien, Chee Hong Yong, Geok Teng Ong, Chin-Heng Leow

Patent number: 10130708Abstract: 2:1 cocrystals of amino acids and Li+ salts crystallize from hot water to afford water stable cationic networks based upon tetrahedral lithium cations: bilayered square grids, a lithium zeolitic metal-organic material (LiZMOM) and several lithium diamondoid metal-organic materials (LiDMOMs). The compositions may be used as a pharmaceutical for the treatment of suicidality and other disorders that require lithium to penetrate the blood brain barrier and exert therapeutic effects in the CNS. Advantageously, the novel cocrystal forms described herein may be used to lower the oral dose required to achieve therapeutic concentrations of lithium in the brain, thus reducing the peripheral toxicity and potentially broadening the therapeutic index in comparison to conventional lithium forms.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2012Date of Patent: November 20, 2018Assignee: University of South FloridaInventors: Michael John Zaworotko, Roland D. Shytle, Tien Teng Ong, Ryan N. Cantwell, Tranhha Nguyen, Adam John Smith, Padmini Kavuru

Publication number: 20070225490Abstract: A cationic oligomer of a saccharide, wherein the saccharide is functionalized by a cationic group, for example an ammonium, phosphonium, imidazolium, or pyridinium group. In a preferred embodiment, the cationic oligomer of a saccharide is a cationic cyclodextrin. There is also provided a use of the cationic oligomer of a saccharide as a chiral agent for resolving enantiomers by a chromatographic method or an asymmetric synthesis.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 15, 2004Publication date: September 27, 2007Applicant: SELEX SENSORS AND AIRBORNE SYSTEMS LIMITEDInventors: Chi Ching, David Young, I Wayan Muderawan, Teng Ong, Siu Ng
