  • Patent number: 8093860
Abstract: A ceiling fan motor with a generator winding is disclosed. A stator is fixed on a motor axle. It is surrounded with several first magnetizing coils, each of which is winded with a second magnetizing coil with a generator winding. A rotor is mounted on the motor axle. The rotor has several magnetic objects around the stator. Each first magnetizing coil is affected by an input voltage to generate an inducing magnetic field for rotating the rotor with respect top the stator. The second magnetizing coil on the stator detects and receives a back electromotive force produced because the rotor rotates and cuts through the magnetic lines, thereby generating electrical power.

  • Publication number: 20100282584
Abstract: A zipper switch for the DC motor of a ceiling fan includes upper and lower cases matching with each other. The upper case is disposed with a driving disk, an elastic element, and a zipper that can rotates the driving disk in one direction. The driving disk is urged by the elastic element to rotate in the opposite direction. The driving disk has a pushing part for pushing a rotating block pivotally disposed in the lower case. The rotating block is disposed with a metal plate with a plurality of electrical contacts. Both sides of the lower case are disposed with a conductive chip, respectively. When the pushing part rotates the rotating block, each electrical contact has intermittent electrical contacts with the conductive chips to start the DC motor.

  • Publication number: 20100150722
Abstract: A fixture of blade and blade frame in a ceiling fan is disclosed. The blade frame has an inserting part to go through the through hole on the blade. The stopping part of the inserting part is blocked by the limiting parts of the positioning element, thereby restricting and positioning the blade and the blade frame. At least one of the several limiting parts is movable and can retract and extend relative to the positioning element, thereby blocking and leaving the corresponding stopping part. Along with fixed limiting parts, the blade and the blade frame can be controlled to be positioned or departed.

  • Patent number: 7656098
Abstract: An improved brightness control apparatus of a light bulb module replaces a portion of a conventional light bulb module brightness control apparatus by a signal receiving circuit, an amplification circuit and a failure protection circuit to maintain an even brightness of light emitted by each light bulb of the light bulb module of a lamp, so that the brightness of the light bulbs in the light bulb module will not be too dark or even not lit. The signal receiving circuit is provided for connecting an external remote control device for controlling the light bulb module. If the control circuit fails, the failure protection device can maintain a temporary illumination and an overall aesthetic look of the lamp. When the control circuit is operated normally, the total power consumption of the light bulbs of the light bulb module can comply with the normal rated standard of illumination equipments.
