The method also includes determining a threshold performance requirement within the geographic area. The method additionally includes simulating a deployment of at least one femto base station within the geographic area. The method further includes determining at least a first performance parameter based on the simulated deployment of the at least one femto base station within the geographic area. The method further includes generating a deployment recommendation based on at least the first performance parameter and the threshold performance requirement. The deployment recommendation may indicate whether to deploy the at least one femto base station within the geographic area.
