  • Patent number: 9131814
Abstract: The impeller of an electric blower includes a front shroud, a rear shroud, sheet-metal blades, a hub part, and an inducer having a plurality of blade parts. The inducer is configured to be divided into two parts: a first inducer composed of a first hub part and first blade parts; and a second inducer composed of a second hub part and second blade parts. The first inducer is disposed such that outer-peripheral blade-tips of the first blade parts are disposed in the proximity of the front shroud, and that the upper surface of the first hub part is proximally covered by the lower surface of a fastener.

  • Publication number: 20120294739
Abstract: An impeller of the present invention includes a front surface shroud including an air intake port; a back surface shroud provided facing the front surface shroud; a first inducer provided between the front surface shroud and the back surface shroud and including a plurality of first blade sections provided around a first hub portion; a second inducer including a plurality of second blade sections connected to the first blade section of the first inducer and provided around a second hub portion; and a plurality of blades connected to the second blade section of the second inducer. A multi-blade structure of the inducer thus can be realized, and an impeller of high performance and low noise can be provided.

  • Publication number: 20110277267
Abstract: Air guide (10) that rectifies air blown out from an impeller includes a plurality of guide vanes (80) having a circular arc shape. In a cross-sectional shape of each one of flow passages (81) of air guide (10), length B of a straight-line portion in a shaft direction of an inner wall-surface formed by one of guide vanes (80) on an outer peripheral side is small compared with length A of a straight-line portion in a shaft direction of an inner wall-surface formed by one of guide vanes (80) on an inner peripheral side. This provides a uniformed flow velocity distribution inside flow passages (81), resulting in a reduced loss caused by differences in flow velocity.
