  • Patent number: 12327939
Abstract: A connector of the present invention includes a fixed housing, a movable housing, a plurality of terminals, and a metal movement restricting member to be attached to the fixed housing. The movable housing includes a main body portion for insertion in a loose fit state into an insertion hole of the fixed housing, and a protrusion portion projecting from the main body portion. In the state where the main body portion has been inserted into the insertion hole, the protrusion portion projects from the main body portion along a perpendicular direction that is perpendicular to both the insertion direction and the width direction. When the main body portion becomes displaced in a direction opposite to the insertion direction, the movement restricting member restricts the amount of displacement of the movable housing by abutting against the protrusion portion.

  • Publication number: 20250055224
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a fixed housing, a movable housing, and a plurality of terminals. The movable housing includes a guide portion that is provided with an opening and receives a plurality of partner connection members, and a plurality of insertion holes that are arranged side by side inside the guide portion and respectively receive insertion of the partner connection members. An inner wall of the guide portion includes first inclined surfaces that are respectively provided at two end sides in the width direction and widen in a tapered manner while extending in the height direction and outward in the width direction. Second inclined surfaces, which are provided between each pair of the insertion holes adjacent to each other in the width direction, extend in a tapered manner toward the entrances of the insertion holes. The first inclined surfaces have a larger dimension in the width direction and dimension in the height direction than the second inclined surfaces.
