    Abstract: An instrument for measuring the pitch of propeller blades which includes a probe which can contact and remain in contact with a propeller blade while there is continuous relative rotation of the probe and the blade, there being means to measure the degree of angular rotation and the distance of movement of the probe and means whereby the two parameters can be manipulated to provide a measurement of pitch.The applications shows several forms of instrument to effect this result under different circumstances.
