  • Publication number: 20240077477
Abstract: A lateral flow assay device that contains multiple test strips, allows multiple tests on a single fluid sample, and displays and transmits the test results to external monitors. The device receives a fluid sample and distributes it to multiple, independent test strips by capillary action. Each test strip has a conjugate pad, test line, and control line, that are designed to detect the presence of a specific analyte. Once the test is complete, photosensitive detectors convert the test results into electrical signals and transmit them to a motherboard. The motherboard then analyzes the test results to format appropriate messages, and transmits the messages to external monitors as well as to the device's own display screen.

  • Patent number: 10932579
Abstract: A seat occupancy indicator device and method; the seat occupancy indicator device includes a housing made of a rigid material (the housing has a housing-exterior and a housing-interior-volume); a plurality of indicator lights, the plurality of indicator lights disposed on the housing-exterior, the plurality of indicator lights viewable from a location outside of the housing; a control-circuit, the control-circuit located within the housing-interior-volume, the control-circuit communicatively coupled to the plurality of indicator lights. The seat occupancy indicator is useful for indicating occupancy of a seat.

  • Publication number: 20190190739
Abstract: A system includes a controller including hardware comprising at least one processor and a memory. The controller receives information from at least one sensor. At least one sensor is constructed and adapted to sense, non-intrusively, real-world physical information associated with at least one appliance. Based at least in part on the information from at least one sensor, the controller determines a current condition of at least one appliance and/or predicts a future condition of at least one appliance. Based at least in part on (i) the current condition of at least one appliance and/or (ii) the predicted future condition of at least one appliance, the controller initiates at least one intervention with at least one appliance.

  • Publication number: 20050012432
Abstract: An integrated circuit (42) provides drive signals to a piezo element (48) of a milli-actuator device (20) in a mass data storage device (10). The integrated circuit (42) includes a circuit (61) for selectively operating the integrated circuit (42) in either a voltage or a charge mode of operation. A first amplifier circuit (44) can be compensated for a variable number of piezo elements in the charge mode of operation by adjustable output impedance adjusting elements (124, 126, 138-141) that are switchably connectable into the amplifier circuit (44).
