  • Publication number: 20060087326
Abstract: A resistive sensing element circuit arrangement includes first and second variable resistance sensing elements R1 and R2 connected in series to form a resistive sensing element set having a first centre connection, first and second fixed resistors Rb1 and Rb2 connected in series and having a second centre connection, and a differential amplifier having a positive input, a negative input and an output. When the variable resistance sensing elements R1 and R2 are inactive the voltage at the first centre connection is equal to the voltage at the positive input of the differential amplifier and when the variable resistance sensing elements are active the voltage at the output of the differential amplifier is proportional to an out-of-balance current that flows through a feedback resistor Rf multiplied by the value of the feedback resistor.

  • Publication number: 20060049611
Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a bicycle in a manner which permits the removal of the body's weight from the pubic area and reduce buttocks pressure while adding therapeutic support to the lower lumbar-sacral region of the body. In a typical embodiment, the mounting apparatus includes a harness device that is worn by a rider. The harness device fits between the lower torso and upper thigh region of the body and has a projecting section attached to the rear. When a rider mounts a bicycle or pedaled vehicle, the projecting section comes in contact with and is supported by means of an adapted bicycle mounting post, thus bearing the riders weight with the harness device leaving sub scrotal arteries free of pressure.

  • Patent number: 6102433
Abstract: Foldable handcart comprised of a rectangular shaped frame with four sections hinged to its top, bottom and both sides. When the cart is folded, the four hinged sections collapse into the rectangular frame to form a single compact unit. Hinged on top of the rectangular frame, the top section is erect when the cart is fully extended. The top section has attached to its upper end the main handle that is used to manipulate the cart. The next section is hinged at the base of the rectangular frame and forms a right angle with the front of the rectangular frame when fully extended. The rectangular frame has two sections hinged on either side. Both side sections have attached to its lower outside corner a wheel that allows the cart to roll. The side sections open outwards on each side of the rectangular shaped frame extending the carts width and for widely spaced wheels. When the cart is folded the top and bottom sections folds forward into the rectangular frame and both side sections fold backward.
