A tubular liquid source (2) is positioned within the casing (1) with the abutment surface in close contact with the outer surface of the source to provide support thereto. The casing (1) includes a passageway for the flow of air from a mouthpiece (3) positioned at one end of the casing (1) to a nozzle (9) positioned at the other end of the casing (1) into which the discharge end of the liquid source protrudes. Abstract: A paint suitable for use in a fountain brush comprising up to 5% by weight of a pigment dispersed in an aqueous medium containing a suspending agent and a surfactant dispersing agent; the paint exhibits advantageous properties used in a fountain brush comprising a brush, a reservoir containing the paint and flow-restricting means for regulating the flow of paint. The preferred suspending agent is hectorite.
