  • Patent number: 5873205
Abstract: A moveable panel is described for providing privacy for a person in a work station or other location behind an arrangement of one or more stationary panels. The privacy panel is suspended from a pair of linear bearings which ride along a horizontal carrier rod mounted to the top edge of the stationary panel by a pair of hanging brackets. The linear bearings are attached to the privacy panel near its trailing edge so that the privacy panel can be moved to close an entryway adjacent the stationary panel. The entire assembly is preferably made of lightweight materials and can be easily mounted onto an existing stationary panel.

  • Patent number: 5778612
Abstract: A partition panel of the kind commonly used in "open office" systems defines an internal cavity which is used to house pieces of data processing or communications equipment such as a computer, a telephone, a modem and a facsimile machine. This equipment is manufactured using current miniaturization techniques to fit inside the internal cavity of the partition panel. As a result, significant space savings are realized, pilferage of the equipment is made much more difficult, and numerous other advantages are realized.

  • Patent number: 5560418
Abstract: An attachment bar is removably mounted on a partition panel at any position along the length of the panel. The attachment bar permits another panel, or a shelf or other accessory, to be mounted on the partition panel. This invention avoids the need to install a 3- or 4-way connection when adding an intersecting panel to a linear arrangement of partition panels.
