    Abstract: The invention relates to a two-part wrench for engaging and rotating a fastening element. A first part consists of a torque-applying portion and the second part is separable from the first part. When disassembled, the wrench has open jaws that can engage a fastening element. The two parts of the wrench may then be assembled around the fastening element to form a closed-loop (or essentially closed loop) ring wrench to apply torque.
