    Abstract: An air filter for use on a truck or similar system includes a cylindrical side wall which is an integral part of or adapted to be mounted on a tank, such as the fuel tank of the truck as the principal means of support. The housing includes a front wall with a removable closure for permitting access to the interior to facilitate removal or replacement of the filter element without having to remove the inlet or outlet air conduits.
