Abstract: The present application relates to providing an aircraft storage container including a lower portion having a horizontal bottom and a plurality of vertical sides configured to form a storage volume, an upper portion rotationally coupled to one of the plurality of vertical sides, a gas piston having a locking mechanism wherein the gas piston is coupled between the lower portion and the upper portion, the gas piston being configured to support the upper portion when the locking mechanism is engaged, a rotational member operative to disengage the locking mechanism when rotated and to engage the locking mechanism when released, and a latch mechanism having a rotational lever, wherein the latch mechanism is operative to rotate the rotational member in response to a pressure on the rotational lever.

Abstract: A tire bead breaker for breaking a tire bead between a tire and a rim or wheel to allow for easy removal of the tire from the wheel includes a main chassis, an activator unit, and an actuation arm. In one preferred embodiment, the activator unit is a pneumatic airbag. The activator unit may have a plurality of chambers. In one preferred embodiment, the actuation arm has a transfer section and an engagement section. The transfer section is for transferring movement from the activator unit to the engagement section. The actuation arm is preferably pivotably attached to the main chassis.

Abstract: A modular tray and lid combination for use in configuring a containment case includes one or more trays and a single lid. When a plurality of trays are used they are connected together either end-to-end or side-by-side or both. The lid includes a plurality of slide latches that secure the lid to the tray or trays.

Abstract: A modular container for sterilization of medical devices. In various embodiments the container includes a slidable button for releasing the lid, the button being contained within a pocket. Other embodiments include a lid and container bottom arranged so that a pair of stacked containers have a gap between the lid and bottom to facilitate drying of the container contents. Yet other embodiments include arrangement of the container sidewalls to fit within the sides of the lid.
