  • Patent number: 7328589
Abstract: A cover (30) for covering the exterior of a through-wall air-conditioner installation in a building. A sheet of material has a shape that provides a rectangular outer wall (32) for covering a rectangular outer face of the through-wall air-conditioner installation and four sides (34, 36, 38, 40) that are folded inward for covering respective sides of the installation and joined at their ends to form four distinct corners for fitting to four corners of the installation. A hem (62) runs along the inner edge margins of the sides and encloses an elastic cord (60) that elongates to a stretched condition to allow the cover to fit over the exterior end of the installation for placing the sides in overlapping relation to the sides of the installation and that exerts a holding force for holding the hem against the four sides of the installation.

  • Publication number: 20070221302
Abstract: A cover (30) for covering the interior face of a through-the-wall air-conditioner unit. The cover is constructed from three pieces of sheet material (34, 36, 38) to form a front wall, a bottom wall, and two side walls and provide a continuous perimeter margin having a hem (52) containing an elastic shock cord (50) that elongates to a stretched condition to allow the cover to fit over the air-conditioner unit and exert a holding force for holding the cover in place.

  • Patent number: 4715997
Abstract: A carburetion system for internal combustion engines includes means for heating and vaporizing fuel in a chamber to a very high temperature and for delivering the heated, vaporized fuel to a holding chamber for the fuel. From the holding chamber, the system draws the heated, vaporized fuel, by vacuum, into admixture with outside air in precise, predetermined ratios for delivery to the conventional carburetion system of an internal combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 4061302
Abstract: An improved mount characterized by an elongated pedestal, having a base end portion and a distal end portion mounting instrument packages and the like, a load transmitting leg coaxially aligned with the pedestal adapted to extend into load bearing engagement with a support surface, and a plurality of uniformly spaced stabilizing legs pivotally connected to the pedestal, at its base end portion, adapted to be extended from a stowed configuration wherein the legs are extended in substantial parallelism with the axis of the pedestal, into a pedestal stabilizing configuration wherein the legs are extended substantially radially from the pedestal for engaging the support surface, and a clamp for securing the stabilizing legs in their stabilizing configurations.
