Abstract: A surgery-progress management system according to one or more embodiments may include: a robotic operating table including a table top on which to place a patient and a robotic arm which comprises a plurality of joints and supports the table top; and a surgery-progress management apparatus that manages progress of surgery. The surgery-progress management apparatus may include a communication unit that communicates information with the robotic operating table, and an information processing unit that acquires information of the robotic operating table from the robotic operating table through the communication unit and generates surgery progress information based on the acquired information of the robotic operating table.

Abstract: A graphical recognition inventory management and marketing system is disclosed. An image comprising a plurality of product elements is captured. Graphical recognition is utilized to detect, isolate, and identify each element by comparing characteristics of the element with element data stored in a database. When a match is found, the detected and isolated element data is stored with the matched database entry. Additional element data obtained during the graphical recognition process is added to element data stored in the database to expand the database entry. The current location of a user device is detected and product element data is displayed along with a map indicating the physical location of the product element and a route to the product element from the user's current location. A user can also capture an image and have product data and a map to the product displayed.

Abstract: A method for producing a region of interest on an image of a medical signal waveform acquired from a patient displayed on a computer screen includes the steps of receiving interaction to move through the image of the medical signal waveform; displaying guidelines on the image to define a region of interest; acting upon data in the region of interest; and displaying the image, the acted upon data, and the defined region of interest on the computer screen.

Abstract: A common battery design for different kinds of notebook computers is provided. The common battery design includes a battery body and an L-shaped cover. The battery body has three pairs of parallel surfaces, and each of a first pair of parallel surfaces includes a set of grooves. The L-shaped cover has two sets of hooks respectively clamping two sets of grooves on the first pair of parallel surfaces. The L-shaped cover covers up one of a first pair of parallel surfaces and its adjacent surface so as to form part of a notebook computer's housing. The L-shaped cover can have the same material or color as the notebook computer with which the L-shaped cover matches. The common battery design is then suitable for different kinds of notebook computers.
