Abstract: A system comprising a database storing schedule information associated with different meeting spaces, at least a first threshold display located proximate at least a first meeting space, an employee tracking system, a processor programmed to perform the steps of receiving employee tracking information including locations and identities, determining the relative juxtapositions of employees with respect to the first threshold display, identifying content to be presented on the first threshold display based on identity of a first employee, a distance between the first employee and the display and the schedule information.

Abstract: A wireless device is provided with a plurality of connectivity options that enable it to connect to a carrier via alternative connectivity routes thereby providing access to value-added services and other information over plurality of connectivity routes. A user of the wireless device may select alternative connectivities when available based on dollar expense, available bandwidth, reliability, latency, or other considerations. Volume data delivery may be deferred until a more suitable connectivity route is established. With each change of connectivity the wireless device should reauthenticate itself. Reauthentication can be simplified by employing the previously authenticated route and leveraging the original authentication.

Abstract: An apparatus for protecting memory blocks in a block-based flash Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EPROM) device is disclosed. A non-volatile memory array includes a number of blocks that are capable of being placed in a locked state or an unlocked state. A volatile lock register and transmits a write protect signal and a volatile lock-down register are coupled to a lockable block in the volatile memory array. A hardware override line is coupled to both the lock register and the lock-down register. The hardware override line temporarily overrides operation of the lock-down register when it transmits a signal at a first logic state. The lock down register may be used to prevent programming of an associated lock register. The lock registers and lock down registers may be embodied in static access memory (SRAM) circuits.
