    Abstract: A retainer for supporting and locating the fuel filler pipe relative to the fuel tank of a motor vehicle, the retainer having a keyway that cooperates with a bead on the filler pipe to deter axial separation once assembled, attachment of the retainer to the fuel tank pivoting the retainer against the pipe thereby resiliently clamping the pipe to the fuel tank.
