  • Publication number: 20080169026
Abstract: An assembly for intermittently flowing a liquid having a non-electrical diverter assembly for receiving and alternately distributed a liquid. A dispensing assembly receives a distribution of liquid from a part of the non-electrical diverter assembly for intermittently dispersing the distributed liquid. Another dispensing assembly receives a distribution of liquid from another part of the non-electrical diverter assembly for intermittently dispersing the distributed liquid. A method for alternately distributing a liquid. The method includes flowing a liquid into a housing, diverting the liquid within the housing, contacting an impeller member with the diverted liquid for operating a cam assembly, and alternately distributing the liquid from the housing by operation of the cam assembly. A non-electrical diverter assembly for receiving and alternately distributing a liquid. The diverter assembly has a housing, a diverter device, a transmission assembly, a drive assembly, and a cam assembly.

  • Patent number: 6530815
Abstract: A bubble-blowing apparatus for use in blowing bubbles from bubble solution may be provided with a bubble solution container capable of holding a volume of bubble solution and having a rounded bottom surface and a container side wall that at least partially defines an interior volume. The container may have a weight distribution, when the internal volume of the container is at least partially filled with bubble solution, that causes the container to automatically move to an upright position from a tilted position angularly displaced from the upright position. The apparatus may also be provided with a cap member that is capable of being attached to the bubble solution container and a bubble wand having a bubble-blowing orifice disposed therein.

  • Patent number: 6328286
Abstract: A bubble-blowing apparatus that may simultaneously produce a plurality of bubble streams from liquid bubble solution is provided with a housing, a rotatable fan associated with the housing, an electric motor operatively coupled to rotatably drive the fan, a battery power source coupled to provide electric power to the motor, an airflow-directing member coupled to the housing that causes air blown by rotation of the fan to be directed predominantly to a peripheral area, and a plurality of bubble-forming tubes operatively coupled to the airflow-directing member at a plurality of points in the peripheral area. Each of the bubble-forming tubes is capable of generating a stream of bubbles and may include a hollow central portion, a base portion, and an end portion that is spaced from the base portion by a distance in a direction parallel to the central diameters of the bubble-forming tubes.

  • Patent number: 5935029
Abstract: A hockey stick is provided with an elongate handle portion and a blade portion coupled to the handle portion. The blade portion holds an impact surface designed to strike a ball or puck when the stick is swung at the ball or puck. The impact surface, blade portion and handle all cooperate to produce a drum-like tone when the ball or is struck. The blade portion includes front and back sections that mate and hold the impact surface therebetween. The front section is provided with a tongue that mates with a groove on the back section and the impact surface has a channel that is held in between the tongue and groove. When the front and back sections are assembled together, the impact surface is tensioned by the tongue and groove to make the impact surface an audibly vibratory member. The assembled front and back sections and the handle portion are hollow within to augment the sound produced by the impact surface.

  • Patent number: 5913709
Abstract: A golf club is provided with an elongate shaft portion and a club head coupled to the shaft portion. The club head holds an impact surface designed to strike a ball when the club is swung at the ball. The impact surface, club head and shaft all cooperate to produce a drum-like tone when the ball is struck. The club head includes front face with a platform and a clamp that mate and hold the impact surface therebetween. The platform is provided with a raised ridge or brace that is surrounded by the clamp. When the platform and clamp are assembled together, the impact surface is tensioned by the brace to make the impact surface an audibly vibratory member. The club head is hollow within to augment the sound produced by the impact surface and has a plurality of ports to an interior cavity to further augment the sound.
