Abstract: A transistor device may include a semiconductor structure including a channel layer and a barrier layer on the channel layer, wherein the barrier layer has a higher bandgap than the channel layer; a source contact and a drain contact on the barrier layer; a gate contact on the semiconductor structure between the source contact and the drain contact, the gate contact including a drain-side wing portion extending from a central portion of the gate contact; and a field plate on the semiconductor structure between the gate contact and the drain contact and laterally offset from the gate contact by a distance. The field plate may include a first wing portion extending from a central portion of the field plate.

Abstract: A portable wig and hairpiece stand includes a substantially hollow box base having a top panel, a bottom panel, and at least one side wall; an inflatable support member for removably supporting a hairpiece, this support member being operably disposed within the top panel of the hollow box base; and a device in fluid communication with the inflatable support member for moving air into or out of it. Also included are provisions for accessing the interior space of the hollow box member, which can be disposed in one side wall or be a hinged top panel.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a vehicle accessory carrier includes: a first assembly including a flat top surface, a bottom surface and a vehicle mounting part attached to the bottom surface, the vehicle mounting part configured to mount the first assembly to a vehicle; and a second assembly configured to carry a vehicle accessory, the second assembly attached to the first assembly and the second assembly including a flat surface overlaying the flat top surface of the first assembly when the second assembly is attached to the first assembly.

Abstract: A first inkjet printer spit cup assembly includes a spit cup having a mounting hole and inner teeth, includes a cylindrical post attached to a base portion and positioned in the mounting hole, and includes a wing. The wing and inner teeth are adapted to permit rotation, and to prevent counter-rotation, of the spit cup about the cylindrical post. A second inkjet printer spit cup assembly includes a spit cup having a mounting hole and bottom teeth, includes a cylindrical post attached to a base portion and positioned in the mounting hole, and includes a top tooth extending from the base portion. The top tooth and bottom teeth are adapted to permit rotation, and to prevent counter-rotation, of the spit cup about the cylindrical post.

Abstract: An electric trolling motor transom mount that (a.) allows a trolling motor to kick over logs while the boat is traveling forward without damaging the trolling motor shaft or mount, (b.) and yet secures the trolling motor propeller in the water while propelling the boat in reverse, and (c.) also allows the operator to remove moss or debris from the propeller while the operator is comfortably seated in the boat, and (d.) allows the trolling motor to be placed in a stowed position on the floor of the boat.

Abstract: An apparatus for controlling a trolling motor, comprising a foot operable control assembly with a rotatable plate operationally connected to the trolling motor so that the rotational motion of the plate will rotate the trolling motor to steer the boat. In one embodiment, the means to activate the trolling motor speeds are operationally connected to the trolling motor and placed in a circle around the rotatable control plate. In another embodiment the operator can place a chair on the rotatable plate to steer the boat and activate the trolling motor speeds with his foot. In still another embodiment the control assembly has a rotatable shaft with a chair attached to steer the boat and the trolling motor speed control means are operatively connected to the trolling motor and placed remotely from the control assembly so that the speed control means are accessible to the foot of an operator.

Abstract: An apparatus for controlling a trolling motor, comprising a rotatable, foot-operated bearing assembly operationally connected to the trolling motor so that rotational motion of the bearing assembly is transferred to produce rotation of the trolling motor. The apparatus is configured so that, regardless of whether the trolling motor is mounted to the front or the back of the boat, the boat will move in the direction of rotation of the bearing assembly. In one embodiment of the invention, the bearing assembly may support a swivel chair whereby rotation of the chair results in rotation of the trolling motor.

Abstract: A control system for a fishing boat trolling motor comprises a pair of cables running from a first pulley on the motor shaft to a second pulley on a bearing assembly that supports a swivel chair so that rotation of the chair produces rotation of the trolling motor. The cables are arranged so that, regardless of whether the trolling motor is mounted to the front or the back of the boat, the boat will be moved in the direction the chair is rotated and two degrees of motor rotation are produced for each degree of chair rotation. The on/off or forward/off/reverse switch for the motor is also attached to a control panel on the chair and rotatable therewith. The switch is preferably positioned to be operated by movement of the user's leg and biased in the off position. Preferably, a motor polarity reversing switch and speed control are also operated from the control panel with the on/off switch.
