  • Patent number: 11148022
Abstract: A golf flagstick device comprising a rigid support member combined with a plurality of jacks. The components are encapsulated by a material, such as a thermoplastic or thermosetting polymer, using an injection molding process. The jacks have one or more arms extending outward from a center portion. The arms are adapted to contact the inner wall of the mold's cavity to help hold the rigid support member in one place and away from the inner wall during the molding process. The flagstick includes a ferrule attached to a lower end which is adapted for placement into a putting cup and a tip fitting attached to an upper end which is adapted to be combined with a flag. The ferrule and/or tip fitting may be combined with the rigid support member before the injection molding process resulting in the ferrule and/or tip fitting being at least partially filled with and/or encapsulated by the material to help hold the components together without requiring a secondary attachment operation.

  • Patent number: 8777768
Abstract: A golf flagstick is provided with a metal ferrule having a cap. The cap is softer than the metal body of the ferrule. The cap reduces wear and tear on the golf cup into which it is placed. The cap may be applied to the metal ferrule by over molding.

  • Patent number: 8272580
Abstract: A golf hole painter is provided for painting an area of a golf hole above a top of a golf cup, but below the putting surface. The golf hole painter includes a base member, a liner, and a main body. The main body is rotatably attached to the base member. The main body also receives a spray canister containing paint, which is pressed and rotated along with the main body in relation to the base member to spray the entire interior periphery of a golf hole. The painted portion of the golf hole allows a golfer to more easily view a golf hole while putting on a golf green, due to the rules of golf requiring a golf cup to sit at least one inch below the putting surface.

  • Patent number: 7455493
Abstract: A ball pickup device includes a plurality of gang assemblies for pivotal movement about a vertical axis. One of the gang assemblies is positioned at the forward end of the device and includes a float wheel which bears a major portion of the weight of the assembly. This facilitates turning, maneuvering, and wear of the various discs that are included in each gang assembly for picking up balls.

  • Patent number: 7198113
Abstract: A hole cutter includes a frame and first and second blade halves moveably mounted with respect to the frame. The blade halves are first driven into the ground and then are lifted upwardly out of the new hole with as ground plug therebetween. A lift flange engages both the blade halves during this upward movement. Then the blades and the ground plug are inserted into an old hole and the blades are removed simultaneously to leave the ground plug in the old hole. The frame is longitudinally extensible to create this removal of blade halves from the old hole.
