  • Patent number: 12281713
Abstract: A biogas digester check valve assembly is configured to eliminate liquids in a methane gas gathering system. The biogas digester valve assembly has a cage retainer plate joined to a plurality of threaded valve cage rods. A valve pill float fits inside the plurality of threaded valve cage rods and against the cage retainer plate. A valve soft seat is joined to a soft seat retainer and the valve seat. A carrier base plate is joined to the valve seat and the plurality of threaded valve cage rods. A valve seat carrier is joined to the valve seat. A valve body top half is joined to the carrier base plate. A welded neck flange is joined to the carrier base plate with a check valve. The valve pill float locks the biogas digester valve to prevent liquids from leaving the methane gas gathering system and permitting methane gas to exit.

  • Patent number: 12266159
Abstract: A product description generating system dynamically generates a description of an item based on one or more images. The product description generating system includes an attribute machine learning system that receives images of the item and determines at least one attribute value and corresponding prediction confidence value based on the image data. The user review interface provides an interface for reviewing attribute values generated by the attribute machine learning system. If the prediction confidence value is outside a threshold, then the attribute value is reviewed by a user via the user review interface. If, on the other hand, the prediction confidence value is within a threshold, then the attribute value is used to generate the description without user review. The user review interface groups items to be reviewed by taxon and facilitates user review of many items at scale.

  • Publication number: 20250007770
Abstract: A demodulator has a correlator bank with multiple correlators. The correlator bank has multiple configurations, including a signal arrival configuration, a coarse timing configuration, and a despreading configuration. The various configurations are used to correlate function transformations of received symbols to template signals. Each correlator has elements with a number of delay blocks corresponding to a number of chips in a symbol. The output of each delay block is multiplied by a bit of a template signal by negating or not negating the output and the multiplications results are summed. A function transformations block receives phase information to generate the function transformations, which are supplied to the correlators.

  • Publication number: 20250007769
Abstract: A receiver includes a demodulator having a configurable correlator bank that helps with fast and robust signal detection. The demodulator detects arrival of a first preamble symbol using a first correlator bank configuration. The demodulator makes a course frequency offset estimation after detection of the first preamble signal and the receiver adjusts a frequency used by a mixer based on the coarse frequency offset estimation. The demodulator confirms signal arrival detection with detection of a second preamble symbol. A coarse timing estimation is generated using a second correlator bank configuration using a multi-symbol observation period. A fine frequency offset estimation is made using a third correlation bank configuration. A fine timing estimation is made using a fourth correlation bank configuration. The demodulator then despreads received symbols using a fifth correlator bank configuration.

  • Publication number: 20250007649
Abstract: A communication method is configured to increase speed of messages reception over a bandwidth limited channel such as high frequency (HF) radio. User data arriving from a high-speed network is transformed into a format suitable for transmission over the radio channel. Message packets that will take longer to reach a destination via the radio channel as compared to alternative channels, such as a fiber optic network, are rejected for radio transmission. When the packet is received, the receiver deduces message length by using information from various error handling techniques, such as forward error correction (FEC) and cyclic redundancy check (CRC) techniques. Fill data is transmitted between message packets when no data is available. The FEC and CRC information for the fill data is modified so that the fill data will fail FEC and CRC checks at the receiving station.

  • Publication number: 20240430143
Abstract: A gear shifting technique has been developed in which modulation and equalization are shifted to achieve optional performance. In one form, two or more equalizers, each associated with a demodulator and message decoder, determine if the modulation being used can be increased in complexity in order to increase the channel throughput or determine if the modulation method should be reduced in complexity in order to improve the receiver error performance. The quality metrics can based on which equalizer-demodulator-decoder is set to first detect a valid message. Other factors can be considered with this technique such as a packet-error ratio and a signal-to-noise ratio. In a financial trading system, message erasures can be favored over errored messages by limiting the number of bit or symbol corrections permitted per message to less than the maximum possible for the selected decoding schemes.

  • Publication number: 20240430033
Abstract: A method and communication system has been developed to increase the number of messages sent over a bandwidth limited channel and/or under noisy conditions by using a variable message length encoding and decoding scheme. With this technique, the messages having a higher probability of being sent are shorter as compared to the messages that are less likely to be sent under the current conditions. With this technique, a higher number of transactions per unit of time can be communicated and/or executed over a given bandwidth limited channel. When the transmitted message is received, the receiver does not know the message length, but the receiver deduces the length by using information from various error detection and correction techniques, such as forward error correction (FEC) and cyclic redundancy check (CRC) techniques.

  • Publication number: 20240364566
Abstract: An equalization method has been developed for low latency, low bandwidth wireless communication channel environments. With this method, an exact copy, nearly exact copy, or some facsimile of a message (or associated information), which was transmitted via a low latency, low bandwidth wireless communication channel, is also sent via a backend communication channel such as a fiber optic network. Equalization is generally performed by comparing the originally received message to the copy sent via the backend channel. The original message can incorporate an added channel delay to compensate for the time delay between the primary wireless channel and the backend channel.

  • Patent number: 12113288
Abstract: A system and method for selecting a polarization for a particular antenna in an antenna array is disclosed. The system comprises an antenna array, wherein each antenna is adapted to receive and transmit horizontally and vertically polarized signals. The system also includes a switching network that is adapted to select the vertical or horizontal polarized signal for each antenna in the antenna array. The switching network also allows selection of a circular polarized signal from one or more of the antenna elements in the antenna array. This allows the AoX to be more accurate, as it is able to receive horizontally and vertically polarized signals, rather than just circular polarized signals, thereby improving its accuracy. The ability to receive circular polarized signals may be beneficial during reference periods to acquire the proper gain and frequency.
