  • Publication number: 20200110587
Abstract: During source code compilation to a first processor instruction set architecture (ISA), a compiler encounters a memory ordering constraint specified in the source code. The compiler generates binary emulation metadata that is usable during emulation of emitted machine code instructions of the first ISA, in order to enforce the memory ordering constraint within corresponding machine code instructions of a second ISA. An emulator utilizes this binary emulation metadata during emulation of a resulting executable image at a processor implementing the second ISA. When the emulator encounters a machine code instruction in the image that performs a memory operation, it identifies an instruction memory address corresponding to the instruction. The emulator determines whether the binary emulation metadata identifies the instruction memory address as being associated with a memory ordering constraint.

Abstract: A medical device includes an inflatable balloon defining an interior surface and an exterior surface, and a coating including a therapeutic agent disposed on the exterior surface of the inflatable balloon. The coating has a release transition temperature within a range from about 25° C. to about 50° C. When the temperature of the coating is below the release transition temperature, the coating retains at least a portion of the therapeutic agent on the exterior of the inflatable balloon. When the temperature of the coating is above the release transition temperature, the coating releases at least a portion of the therapeutic agent from the exterior of the inflatable balloon.

  • Patent number: 9450226
Abstract: A battery pack assembly has a plurality of interconnected battery cells and is suitable for use in an electric vehicle or a hybrid electric vehicle. The assembly includes a first battery cell having a first terminal and a second battery cell having a second terminal electrically interconnected by a bus bar formed of a conductive material and attached to the first terminal and the second terminal. A bus bar retainer formed of a dielectric material is configured to contain the bus bar within the bus bar retainer. The bus bar has a greater freedom of movement within the bus bar retainer along a first, e.g. vertical, axis than along a second, e.g. longitudinal, axis and a third, e.g. lateral axis, wherein both the second and third axes are substantially perpendicular to the first axis and to each other. The assembly may also include individually removable temperature sensing devices.

  • Patent number: 8828474
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for loading a therapeutic substance or drug within a lumenal space of a hollow wire having a plurality of side openings along a length thereof that forms a hollow drug-eluting stent with a plurality of side drug delivery openings. Loading a drug within the lumenal space of the hollow stent includes a drug filling step, in which the drug is mixed with a solvent or dispersion medium. The lumenal space may be filled with the drug solution or suspension in a reverse fill process and/or a forward fill process. After the drug filling step, a solvent or dispersion medium extracting step is performed to extract the solvent or dispersion medium from within the lumenal space such that only the drug remains within the hollow stent. A stent cleaning step may be performed to an exterior surface of the hollow stent.
