  • Publication number: 20210150402
Abstract: Techniques for machine learning assisted qubit state readout are disclosed. A system a set of training data that describes states of multiple qubits, and trains a neural network to determine qubit states based on the set of training data. The system obtains one or more unlabeled qubit signals, and determines one or more states corresponding to the unlabeled qubit signal(s), using the neural network. The unlabeled qubit signal(s) may include one or more multiplexed qubit signals, and the state(s) corresponding to the unlabeled qubit signal(s) may include one or more multi-qubit states based on the multiplexed qubit signal(s).

  • Publication number: 20060125480
Abstract: An embeddable corrosion rate meter (ECRM) for detecting and measuring corrosion in metal and concrete structures is provided. The system comprises an electrochemical cell with at least one working electrode evenly separated from a counter electrode, wherein a separation distance between electrodes determines an electrolyte medium resistance and the electrolyte medium resistance is less than or equal to a polarization resistance.

  • Patent number: 5938055
Abstract: A sealable container is disclosed in which a cap is provided having a circumferential outer skirt for engaging a container and having a circumferential resilient depending inner member spaced from and extending substantially parallel to the outer skirt. The cap is substantially light-transmissive over at least a portion of the visible spectrum, so as to permit viewing through the cap. A container is provided having a rigid side wall for engagement with the resilient inner member of the cap internally thereof. The side wall has an end fitting within the resilient inner member of said cap and spaced radially inwardly therefrom when the cap is secured to the container. The side wall is tapered. Structures are provided on the container remotely from the end of the rigid wall. Cooperative structures are provided on the cap for preventing the cap from being removed from the container without depression of the cap on the container and rotation of the cap on the container.

  • Patent number: 5033635
Abstract: A container, especially a food container, has straight, frustoconical side walls to give it resistance to vertical loads. A bottom is recessed upward from the bottom edge of the side wall. At the top, a flange extends radially outward. The flange is textured with grooves formed by mold machining marks to enhance bonding between the container and a flexible sheet material used to close the container. Spacers project outward from near the top of the container to permit several containers to be stacked without getting stuck to each other. The spacers have a T-shape, with the head of the T being integral with the side wall and the leg of the T forming an outwardly projecting rib.

  • Patent number: 5013513
Abstract: The method and apparatus includes an injection molding assembly including a mold, a core and a mold cavity therebetween wherein said mold cavity has a base, a peripheral area of said base and a central area of said base, at least two injection gates for injecting plastic material into said mold cavity situated adjacent the peripheral area of the mold cavity in a substantially balanced fashion, a source for injecting plastic material through the injection gates whereby molten plastic advances from the injection gates in the mold cavity to force gas in advance of the plastic and to stabilize the core, and means for venting the gas from the mold cavity.
