    Abstract: A cable hold-down structure includes an elongate, flexible substrate material whose underneath side edges are provided with adhesive, with a central section extending the length of the tape being adhesive free. The tape is employed to hold a cable on a support surface by positioning the tape lengthwise along the top of the cable, with the central section of the tape being in contact with the cable and the side edges of the tape containing adhesive adhering to the support surface on either side of the cable.
