  • Patent number: 4775812
Abstract: A brushless motor includes a first motor section provided with a switching element to change over energization of an exciting coil wound around a stator pole based on a signal from a rotor position detector for detecting rotational position of a rotor magnet. A second motor section has a rotor magnet and a stator pole including the same number of magnet poles as the first motor section with the stator pole being normally maintained at predetermined polarities. A third motor section has a rotor magnet and a stator pole with two times the number of magnet poles of the second motor section, with the stator pole being normally maintained at predetermined polarities. The first, second and third motor sections are arranged on the same shaft, with the third motor section being so disposed as to generate torque in a regular direction at the maximum, with respect to a torque transformation point, in the direction of a generated torque of the second motor.

  • Patent number: 4751415
Abstract: A brushless DC motor comprising a stator with plural exciting windings and a rotor made of a permanent magnet is provided with a compensation winding wound in the stator and compensation magnetic poles disposed on the rotor such that a torque which is generated between the compensation winding and the compensation magnetic poles of the rotor may eliminate fluctuation of the torque generated by interaction of the exciting windings of the stator and the main magnet of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 4570093
Abstract: A direct-current motor includes a rotatable shaft, a core mounted on the rotatable shaft and supporting windings disposed around the core, the core having winding-free portions, a first drive magnet disposed in radially confronting relation to the winding-free portions with an air gap, and magnetized substantially perpendicularly to the rotatable shaft, and a second drive magnet disposed in axially confronting relation to the winding-free portions with an air gap, and magnetized substantially axially of the rotatable shaft.

  • Patent number: 4072315
Abstract: A turntable direct-drive system in which a cylindrical rotor having an inverted U-shaped cross sectional configuration is carried by a turntable shaft, and two stator cores with windings mounted thereupon are disposed at opposite sides, respectively, of the side wall of the cylindrical rotor and spaced apart therefrom by a distance suitable to exert the driving force to the side wall of the cylindrical rotor. A turntable is supported by the turntable shaft or on the top of the cylindrical rotor directly or through a plurality of projections extended therefrom or a plurality of elastic supporting members attached thereto so that the turntable may be maintained at a level and vibrations thereof may be minimized.
