  • Patent number: 7059168
Abstract: A base member formed of rubber or the like, which transmits ultrasound waves, includes a storage portion with a small width connected with a storage portion with a great width, wherein internal organ models, formed of animal internal organs or the like, such as an esophagus model, stomach model, and the like, are stored in these storage portions. A jelly-like member, which transmits ultrasound waves, is filled in around the internal organ models. An ultrasonic endoscope or the like can be inserted through an inserting hole so as to obtain ultrasonic images generally the same as with a case of inserting the ultrasonic endoscope or the like into a human body, thereby providing a training device which can be easily used.

  • Patent number: 5614705
Abstract: An information reading apparatus comprises a laser diode, a mirror having a planar emission mirror unit for reflecting a laser beam emitted from the laser diode towards a target optical pattern and a concave condensing mirror unit, formed integral with the emission mirror unit, for condensing a reflection beam from the optical pattern in a predetermined direction, a photodetector, situated in such a position as not to interrupt the reflection beam from the optical pattern, for receiving the condensed reflection beam and converting the same to an electric signal, and a mirror driving apparatus for reflecting the laser beam from the scan mirror in a reciprocal rotational operation by an attractive force of a permanent magnet and a coil and a restoring force of a resilient body clamped by dampers on both sides, and reciprocally scanning the beam over a bar code within a predetermined range.

  • Patent number: 4867138
Abstract: This rigid electronic endoscope is formed of an endoscope body and an elongate tubular guide tube. An insertable part to be inserted through the guide tube is provided in front of this endoscope body. A solid state imaging device as an imaging means is provided in the tip part of this insertable part and a supporting part of a cross-sectional area smaller than of this tip part is provided in the rear of this tip part. A space as a treating tool inserting path or as a liquid feeding and sucking tube path which can feed and drain an irrigating liquid is formed between this supporting part and the inner surface of the guide tube.
