  • Patent number: 11976387
Abstract: An embodiment is a method of recycling carbon fibers that includes: preparing a carbon fiber reinforced plastic formed product that includes a carbon fiber reinforced plastic containing a carbon fiber and a resin; thermally decomposing or dissolving the resin in the carbon fiber reinforced plastic formed product by a first heating process or a first dissolving process; and winding while drawing the carbon fiber from the carbon fiber reinforced plastic formed product after the first heating process or the first dissolving process. The winding further includes thermally decomposing or dissolving a residue of the resin attached to the carbon fiber by a second heating process or a second dissolving process and adding a sizing agent to the carbon fiber after the second heating process or the second dissolving process.

  • Patent number: 8029884
Abstract: Provided is an antistatic white polyester film for a surface illuminant reflector, which has practically adequate reflective performance in a visible light region, can form a film with stability even if inorganic fine particles are added in a high concentration, prevents dirt and dust from adhering to the surface of the film due to having an antistatic coat, can control the gloss levels of the front and back sides of the film, and thereby can control a diffusing property of light, and can be suitably used as a base material for a reflector used for a liquid crystal display or an internally illuminated electric ornament signboard. An antistatic white polyester film for a surface illuminant reflector, having a base material layer formed by using a polyester resin and an antistatic applied layer having the surface resistivity of 3×1012?/? or less at a temperature of 23° C.

  • Publication number: 20100285302
Abstract: [Object] In light of the problems in the prior art, an object of the invention is to provide a white laminated polyester film for a reflective plate sheet, which has a high reflectance and a high concealing property compatible with each other, and is not easily broken and is high in productivity. [Solving means] A white laminated polyester film for a reflecting sheet, including a polyester layer (B) containing voids therein, and a polyester layer (A) laminated at least on one surface side of the layer (B), the laminated polyester film satisfying the following (1) to (5): (1) the thickness of the polyester layer (A) laminated at least on one surface side is from 5 to 15 ?m; (2) the polyester layer (A) contains therein particles having a refractive index of 2.0 or more in an amount of 3 to 15% by weight of the polyester layer (A); (3) the thickness of the polyester layer (B) is 150 ?m or more; (4) the amount of particles having a refractive index of 2.

  • Patent number: 7544408
Abstract: Described are smooth biaxially oriented films and methods of making smooth biaxially oriented films for molding processes. The films may include an outer film layer A, and an outer film layer B that includes particles. Layer A has a SRa roughness of from 1 nm to 5 nm and a SRz roughness of from 10 nm to 100 nm. Layer B has a SRa roughness of from 5 nm to 50 nm and a SRz roughness of from 10 nm to 200 nm. The SRa and SRz of layer B is larger than the SRa and SRz of layer A.
