  • Patent number: 8473135
Abstract: A vehicle-side storage unit of a vehicular device associates and stores an already-traveled route and power consumption when a self vehicle has traveled the already-traveled route, as traveling history data. A vehicle-side control unit of the vehicular device transmits the traveling history data to a center device. A center-side storage unit of the center device stores the traveling history data transmitted from multiple vehicles. A center-side control unit of the center device calculates a necessary electric power for traveling a first route in a guide route, based on the traveling history data of an other vehicle stored in the center-side storage unit, the first route being not overlapping with the already-traveled route of the self vehicle stored in the center-side storage unit.

  • Patent number: 7756466
Abstract: According to a user's recording instruction, a navigation apparatus acquires reception data (music information and identification information) from a satellite digital radio apparatus on a tune basis and records the data on a hard disk. After the recording is complete, the navigation apparatus uses a size of the reception data recorded on the hard disk to determine whether or not the recording is interrupted in the middle of a tune. When the recording is interrupted, the navigation apparatus registers the tune's identification information to an interrupted recording list. The navigation apparatus then acquires identification information about a tune being received from the satellite digital radio apparatus. When the interrupted recording list registers the identification information, that is, the recording-interrupted music is rebroadcast, the navigation apparatus acquires reception data from the satellite digital radio apparatus and re-records it on the hard disk.

  • Publication number: 20050171688
Abstract: A travel direction designating unit designates a travel direction of a travel lane where a subject vehicle travels, by using an image of a paint photographed by an in-vehicle camera. On the other hand, a travel direction extracting unit extracts a travel direction in which the subject vehicle should travel in line with a route to a destination from the current position of the subject vehicle. Further, a determining unit determines whether the extracted travel direction in line with the route matches with the designated travel direction. It is thereby determined whether the subject vehicle travels towards a proper road.

  • Publication number: 20050160089
Abstract: A music data storage medium stores, as well as multiple music compositions, a feature phrase database composed of data relating to respective feature phrases of the multiple music compositions. When a preview and reproduction process for a feature phrase is started, based on the feature phrase data, only the feature phrase of each of the music compositions is reproduced. The entire data of a music composition that a user prefers listening to is extracted from the music data storage medium by being selected when its feature phrase is reproduced; then, the entire music composition of the music composition is reproduced.
