  • Publication number: 20190374118
Abstract: In a method for measuring a biometric signal of a subject, the biometric signal is repeatedly detected using a biometric sensor and a noise intensity of noise contaminating the detected biometric signal is detected. Further, in the method, a signal intensity of the detected biometric signal is adjusted if the signal intensity meets an intensity change condition. If the detected noise intensity is greater than a noise threshold, adjustment of the signal intensity is withheld.

  • Publication number: 20130266839
Abstract: A thermal conductive mechanism for a battery pack made up of a stack of a plurality of sub-battery modules each of which includes a plurality of battery cells arrayed thereon. The sub-battery modules each has opposed major surfaces and are laid to overlap each other in a direction perpendicular to the major surfaces. The thermal conductive mechanism is equipped with plates provided one for each of the sub-battery modules. Each of the plates has a given number of the battery cells disposed thereon and also has heat transfer surfaces extending in a planar direction of the plate. The heat transfer surfaces are placed in one of direct and indirect contact with the given number of the battery cells to achieve transfer of heat therebetween, thereby equalizing the temperature in each of the battery cells and also minimizing a difference in temperature among the battery cells.

  • Patent number: 7048044
Abstract: There are provided a water-refrigerant heat exchanger 30 for exchanging heat between refrigerant discharged from a compressor 21 and engine-cooling water circulating an engine-cooling water circuit 10, prior to being fed into the radiator 22, and a bypass 25 for guiding the refrigerant prior to being fed into the evaporator 24 to the water-coolant heat exchanger 30 while bypassing the evaporator 24 and the compressor 21. When it is desired to accelerate the warming-up of the engine 11, the bypass 25 is closed to operate the compressor 21 to heat the engine-cooling water by high-pressure refrigerant, and when it is desired to complement the capacity of the radiator 12, the bypass 25 is open to guide the liquid-phase refrigerant to the water-refrigerant heat exchanger 30 to effectively cool the refrigerant by using the phase change of the refrigerant.

  • Publication number: 20060001002
Abstract: A refrigerating cycle comprising a compressor 1 which compresses and discharges a refrigerant containing a refrigerating machine oil in a refrigerant circulating passage for lubricating the compressor 1, wherein fine particles 17 having a nearly circular shape in cross section are put into the refrigerant circulating passage. The fine particles 17 present between the sliding surfaces of the compressor prevent direct contact between the sliding surfaces. Besides, the fine particles 17 having a nearly circular shape in cross section roll when the opposing side surfaces move relative to each other creating rolling friction. Therefore, the coefficient of friction decreases on the sliding portions of the compressor 1.

  • Patent number: 6508703
Abstract: In an air passage opening/closing device for a vehicle air conditioner, a driving member is disposed to apply driving force for a reciprocating movement of a film member to at least one position of the film member, and a guide member is provided in an air-conditioning case to guide the reciprocating movement of the film member. The film member has a flexible performance to move in a bend path, and has a rigidity to be moved along the guide member when pushing force from the driving member is applied to the film member. Thus, the air passage opening/closing device using the film member has a simple structure without a film-winding mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6397609
Abstract: In a vehicle air-conditioning system, plural electrical members such as a blower controller, servomotors and a post-evaporator temperature sensor are collectively disposed on an electrical circuit board integrally formed with an evaporator case cover for closing a side surface of an evaporator case. Therefore, a wire structure of an electrical connection or a wire harness can be made simple. Further, because an elastically deformable sensor-pressing portion for pressing the post-evaporator sensor toward an evaporator side surface is integrally formed with the evaporator case cover integrated with the electrical circuit board, a contact pressure of a temperature sensitive portion of the post-evaporator sensor onto the evaporator side surface can be maintained.
