  • Publication number: 20180103142
Abstract: An image forming apparatus may have the followings. A switching transformer has a first coil, a second coil, and a first core. The switching transformer generates a secondary side current in the second coil by a magnetic flux generated in the first core by a current that flows in the first coil. A common mode choke coil has a third coil, a fourth coil, and a second core. The common mode choke coil reduces a common mode noise. The switching transformer and the common mode choke coil are mounted on a substrate so that a direction of the magnetic flux generated in the first core and a direction of a magnetic flux generated in the second core are perpendicular.

  • Patent number: 9843817
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an image information decoding apparatus adapted for performing infra-image decoding based on resolution of color components and color space of an input image signal. An intra prediction unit serves to adaptively change block size in generating a prediction image based on a chroma format signal indicating whether resolution of color components is one of 4:2:0 format, 4:2:2 format, and 4:4:4 format, and a color space signal indicating whether color space is one of YCbCr, RGB, and XYZ. An inverse orthogonal transform unit and an inverse quantization unit serve to also change orthogonal transform technique and quantization technique in accordance with the chroma format signal and the color space signal. A decoding unit decodes the chroma format signal and the color space signal to generate a prediction image corresponding to the chroma format signal and the color space signal.

  • Patent number: 9628804
Abstract: A decoding method decodes a bit stream in an image decoding apparatus. The method includes receiving a weight parameter that is added to a luma quantization parameter as the bit stream. The method also includes decoding, in a decoding unit in the image decoding apparatus, the bit stream, and generating a luma component of quantized coefficients and a chroma component of quantized coefficients. Further, the method includes performing, in a dequantization unit in the image decoding apparatus, dequantization on the luma component of quantized coefficients using the luma quantization parameter and the chroma component of quantized coefficients using a chroma quantization parameter calculated on the basis of the luma quantization parameter weighted by an add operation of the weight parameter. In addition, the method includes performing, in a transform unit in the image decoding apparatus, an inverse orthogonal transform.

  • Publication number: 20170019706
Abstract: The present invention relates to an encoding device and a method, a decoding device and a method, an editing device and a method, a storage medium, and a program which can perform encoding and decoding so that buffer failure does not occur. Information, such as a minimum bit rate, a minimum buffer size, and a minimum initial delay time, is contained in a random access point header contained in an accessible point in a bitstream. A bitstream analyzing unit 72 analyzes an input bitstream, sets the above-mentioned information, and outputs the resulting information to a buffer-information adding unit 73. The buffer-information adding unit 73 adds the input information to the input bitstream and outputs the resulting bitstream. The present invention is applicable to an encoding device and a decoding device which process bitstreams.

  • Patent number: 9532068
Abstract: An encoding apparatus and an encoding method, a decoding apparatus and a decoding method, a recording medium, and a program suitable for encoding image signals with a higher compression ratio for transmission or accumulation. In an arithmetic coding section, from among the syntax elements of input image compression information, the frame/field flag is first encoded by a frame/field flag context model. When the macroblock to be processed is subjected to frame-based encoding, a frame-based context model, specified in the current H.26L standard, is applied. On the other hand, when the macroblock to be processed is subjected to field-based encoding, a field-based context model is applied for the syntax elements described below. The present invention is applied to an encoder for encoding image information and a decoder for decoding image information.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a decoding apparatus and a decoding method and a coding apparatus and a coding method capable of adjusting a compression rate of a lowest limit. A decoding unit decodes a bit stream coded according to an H.265/HEVC standard having a profile in which a lowest compression rate at the time of coding an image is set for each of a main tier and a high tier in units of Coding Units (CU) that are recursively divided. The present disclosure, for example, can be applied to a decoding apparatus of an High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) system and the like.
