Abstract: A weather strip of the present invention includes a molded portion including a base having at least one hole. The weather strip also includes a seal portion, which extends from the base and has a hollow region and at least one protrusion formed at an inside of a side wall of the seal portion. Each protrusion is locally formed corresponding to a position of each hole of the base. The weather strip includes a clip, which is inserted into the hole in the base, used for fixing the base to a vehicle door. The protrusion prevents the clip from rotating in the hollow region of the seal portion.

Abstract: A weather strip adapted to be mounted on a door of a vehicle: the weather strip has a mount base part including an interior-side engagement portion and an exterior-side engagement portion which are engageable with a pair of engagement recesses provided on a mount portion of a door. A neck portion extends from the interior-side engagement portion. A hollow seal part includes a bottom wall portion extending from the neck portion substantially linearly and substantially in parallel with the interior-side engagement portion of the mount base part. A predetermined space is formed between the bottom wall portion and the interior-side engagement portion. A seal wall is provided on a side of the bottom wall portion which is opposite to a surface of the bottom wall portion facing the interior-side engagement portion.

Abstract: An automotive weather strip, with an extended portion formed integrally with a base portion of the weather strip, is bonded with an attachment panel of a door frame by a double-sided adhesive tape. The extended portion is formed as a substantially flat plate, so that the extended portion can be pressed uniformly and quickly by a pressing jig. Thus, the weather strip can be bonded with the attachment panel easily. In addition, only one hollow portion is provided as a seal portion, so that the configuration of the weather strip can be made so simple that it is possible to connect extruded portions of the weather strip with molded portions easily.

Abstract: A glass run portion and an inner weather strip of a door are made integral with each other via a molded portion. A seal lip portion is provided on the molded portion which is adapted to contact an inner side of a window glass and to continuously connect a laterally inner seal lip of the glass run portion with a seal lip of the inner weather strip. Owing to this, seal lines of both the glass run portion and the inner weather strip are made continuous with each other via a seal line of the seal lip portion which contacts the inner side of the window glass.

Abstract: A lock portion is formed on an end portion of an outside wall portion of a glass run which has a channel body portion and which is to be attached to a groove portion formed in a window frame of a vehicle. A detachment preventing protrusion portion is formed on an outside wall surface of the outside wall portion. Pressure-contact portions which are brought into pressure-contact with car-exterior-side and car-interior-side wall inner surfaces of the groove portion are provided on the outside surfaces of the base end portions of the outside and inside wall portions, respectively. The lock portion is brought into contact with a car- exterior-side outer edge of the window frame, and the body portion is rotated around the lock portion so as to be fitted into the groove portion.

Abstract: A weather strip is attached to the periphery of an organic glass plate. The organic glass plate is supported by a slide panel. A space is defined between the weather strip and an end face of the periphery of the organic glass plate. The space accommodates thermal expansion of the organic glass plate. A tube is located at a corner of the weather strip. Foreign matter trapped in the space moves from the space to the tube and then is discharged from the space.
