    Abstract: An optical connector cleaning tool includes a tip (44) for cleaning in a distal end portion. The tip (44) has a distal end face (51) in which a delivery hole (53) and a winding hole (54) for a cleaning medium are formed, and has an outer circumferential surface (52). The distal end face (51) has a first inclined surface (56) and a second inclined surface (57) forming the distal end portion of the tip (44) into a mountain shape in cross section, and has a convex curved surface (58) for connecting them to the outer circumferential surface (52). The first inclined surface (56) crosses an axis of the tip (44), and inclines at an angle smaller than an inclination angle of a distal end face of an APC connector.

    Abstract: An optical connector cleaning tool includes a cleaning tool main body, a feed-side bobbin, a cleaning head (cleaning portion), a winding-side bobbin, a moving body that moves at the time of cleaning, a feed mechanism that sends an unused cleaning medium in synchronism with the moving body, and a winding mechanism that drives the winding-side bobbin. The feed mechanism moves a turn-back portion at one point where the cleaning medium is turned back in a direction to separate from the winding-side bobbin. The winding mechanism includes a driving piece that engages with a rotation body of the winding-side bobbin. The driving piece slips with respect to the rotation body when a load to press engaging projections of the rotation body has reached a predetermined load.

    Abstract: An optical connector cleaning tool includes a cleaning head that faces the lens (cleaning target portion) of an optical connector, and a cleaning cloth (3) that moves with respect to the cleaning head in a state in which the cleaning cloth is in contact with the lens. The cleaning cloth (3) is formed into a strip shape by a fabric (25) including a plurality of warps (28) in which a longitudinal direction thereof is a moving direction of the cleaning cloth moving with respect to the cleaning head. The warp (28) includes a first chemical fiber (31) and a second chemical fiber (32). One chemical fiber of the first chemical fiber (31) and the second chemical fiber (32) is in a stretched state, and the other chemical fiber is in a slack state. It is possible to provide an optical connector cleaning tool capable of cleaning a lens-type optical connector.

The optical connector cleaning tool further includes a slide spring (53) which biases the pressing member (5) forward, and a transmission mechanism (33) which transmits an action of the pressing member (5) to the winding bobbin (12). The transmission mechanism (33) includes a rack (32) on the side of the pressing member (5), and a pinion on the side of the winding bobbin (12).
