  • Publication number: 20040185163
Abstract: The present invention relates to the food for emergencies, suitable for eating in times of the natural disasters and accidents, wherein the germinating cereal to which a certain amount of the powders of the young rice leaves and/or the leaves of the coleseeds are added, will be baked into a given size and as the germinating cereal is sealed into the sealed container which does not pass any air or light, not only the nutritious values of the germinating cereal but also various nutritious values (for example, vitamin, mineral, fiber or food fiber) proper to the young rice leaves and coleseeds are added so that the germinating cereal will become effective as food for emergencies and degradation of food can be prevented as the sealed container does not pass any air or light.

  • Patent number: 6491962
Abstract: The present invention relates to the healthy supplementary foods and the technology for making them by enabling the efficient collection of young leaves of rice plant rich in nutrition and processing without losing nutrition characteristic of young leaves of rice plant. Collection of young leaves of rice plant consists in cutting young leaves 2 of the upper side only while leaving the below part of the rice plant when rice plant has grown so old as to be in ears or just before this, allowing for cutting the remaining young leaves after they have grown again after passing a certain period of time. This step will be repeated several times. The young leaves 2 cut out will be pre-processed appropriately like cleaning before they are far infrared dried to contain a given volume of water, thus refraining, for instance, the destruction of the useful compounds- in the young leaves 2 of rice plant.

  • Patent number: 6060098
Abstract: The invention provides a cereal cake formed by using germinated brown rice or other germinated cereal irradiated with far infrared rays as the material, and its manufacturing method, and more particularly it relates to cereal cake and its manufacturing method characterized by heating and pressing germinated cereal irradiated with far infrared rays, not a mere cereal, to process into a specified form, and therefore by germination of the cereal, phosphorus is supplied, phosphate enzyme acts, phytic acid is decomposed into phosphoric acid and inositol, protein is bonded to amino acid, fat to essential fatty acid, starch to sugar and minerals to amino acid, so as to be absorbed smoothly in the body, zinc, other minerals and vitamins are increased several times, and in particular the starch is transformed into sugar, so that a natural sweetness is provided without any particular sweetening process.

  • Patent number: 5738892
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of germinating and drying cereal such as rice, wheat, soybean and corn seeds, in which a husked cereal is subjected to moisture treatment to germinate the cereal. The germination is suspended after germinated cereal is produced. The germinated cereal is dried at a temperature of about 30.degree. C. and irradiated with far infrared rays to dry the inside thereof and cause absorbed nutrients of the germinated cereal to be readily extractable.
