  • Patent number: 4998692
Abstract: In a hose fitting fixing construction of the present invention, at least one of a hose fitting and a bracket has at least one stopper having a stopper surface brought into contact with the other part and being substantially parallel to a plane which contains a fixing point of a fixing device and the central axis of a sleeve of the hose fitting. The stopper prevents the hose fitting from moving on a surface of the bracket. Accordingly, the hose fitting fixing construction offers an excellent positioning accuracy when installing a hose assembly, and prevents the hose fitting from moving on the surface of the bracket even during service. In addition, it is possible to install the hose assembly to a mounting portion more easily than installing the hose assembly with the prior art hose fitting fixing construction, and obtain excellent work efficiency in a limited work space.

  • Patent number: 4958789
Abstract: In a hose fitting fixing construction according to this invention, an engagement member having restoring force of gravity or elastic force is disposed in an engagement space of a bracket. The engagement member engages with an engagement dent of a hose fitting flange inserted into the engagement space, thereby engaging the hose fitting flange with the bracket. A detachment hole may be provided on the bracket to enable easy detachment of the hose fitting flange from the bracket. A detachment jig is inserted into the detachment hole to deform the engagement member against the restoring force and disengage the engagement member from the engagement dent of the hose fitting flange, thereby enabling to detach the hose fitting flange from the engagement space. Accordingly, the hose fitting flange can be installed to the bracket by snap-action even in a limited work space, and detached with ease.

  • Patent number: 4927190
Abstract: A hose fitting body composed of a head portion with a through hose made in the center of a pair of flat surfaces thereof, a base portion, and a sleeve is formed out of a test tube-shaped substance by plastic deformation, and a nipple is integrally fixed on the inner circumferential surface of the sleeve. The hose fitting allows for the bending of the base portion while securing a necessary cross-sectional area for the fluid delivery hole of the base portion even when the base portion is bent greatly. The light-weight construction facilitates uniform wall thickness while reducing raw material cost, and provides for fixing the nipple on the sleeve inner circumferential surface in a fluid-tight manner without brazing or drive fitting the nipple.

  • Patent number: 4854030
Abstract: Disclosed are a hose fitting comprising the following and a process for manufacturing the same: A hose fitting body composed of a head portion with a through hole made in the center of a pair of flat surfaces thereof, a base portion, and a sleeve all of which are formed out of a test tube-shaped substance by a plastic deformation, and a nipple integrally fixed on the inner circumferential surface of the sleeve. The hose fitting of this invention provides the following advantages of offering easy work for the bending the base portion, offering readiness for securing a necessary cross-sectional area as the fluid delivery hole of the base portion even when the base portion is bent greatly, light-weighted construction having a uniform wall thickness and requiring less raw material cost, and fixing nipple on the sleeve inner circumferential surface in a fluid-tight manner without brazing or drive fitting the nipple.

  • Patent number: 4617213
Abstract: A hydraulic brake hose has an inner tube made of nylon, an isocyanate adhesive layer formed on the outer surface of the inner tube, a chloroprene-rubber adhesive layer formed on the outer surface of the isocyanate adhesive layer, a reinforcing fiber layer made of high polymeric material selected from the group consisting of rayon, polyester, polyamid and polyvinyl alcohol, impregnated with resorcinol formaldehyde latex containing chloroprene-rubber and formed on the outer surface of the chloroprene-rubber adhesive layer and an outer tube made of chloroprene-rubber and formed on the outer surface of the reinforcing fiber layer. The inner tube has the modulus of elasticity of 7,000 to 15,000 kg/cm.sup.2 and has an inner diameter of not less than 2.0 mm, an outer diameter of not more than 6.0 mm and a thickness of not less than 0.7 mm.
